My main concern is Demko's durability, if he has another injury riddled season its time to move on from him, cause we'll never win a cup with him.

Silovs was playing on adrenaline for playoffs. Fear can make you play better. When the dust settles ,he was out played by Tolopillo in the Abby reg season. Demko now injury prone...so ya goalkeeping is a concern. 😮

Maybe trade demko in februari 2026 if he demands 8 mil next contract. But only if silovs, tolopilo, patera shows one of them have first goalie potential and at least silovs will get a chance to prove that.

If Demko stays healthy they will rank pretty high. #1 Luongo and Schneider, #2 Mclean and Hirsch, #3 Markstrom and Demko, #4 miller and Markstrom. Hard to bear Schneider and Luongo but it isnt impossible. Siloves did well, he is a hard worker and will improve. Ian clark will make him even better.

Edmonton has 2 2/3 good lines. Perry is cooked and that 4th line is garbage....but they still are probably the team to beat with how good those top 2 lines are

Forgot about Kratsov. Signed a 2 year deal at the end of the 2023 NHL season. He had a decent first year back in the KHL. I wonder if he might be wanting to come back to the NHL after his contract is up. KHL season is over around February I believe.

I really dont see Hoglander on the 4th line. I know he had a rough playoffs but it was his 1st one, there is a learning curve. He should be better from it. I agree that Lekkerimäki might make it. He will be good, I just think he might need time to adjust. He noted the difference of how much time is spent on the boards. I think he will come in prepared. D Petty looks good. I think he will be a call up if/when Broberg gets hurt.
