You got to see Mackinnon diving live at a game, tho. Sold a slash got a 2 man pp and another pp in ot. Without the penalties we would won 5vs5

Good thing is. Overtime and playoffs is 5 on 5. Which is canucks are the best at. Downside. They need to play a full 60. That 3rd period. Seeing them do stupid blind passes up the middle . Just to get it out of offensive zone. Was just pure stupid. Basic 101 of hockey. Throw the puck up along the boards if your exhausted. Not up the middle . It will get turned over , and stuck in your own zone. Which they was doing a lot of in the 3rd.

Like . I mean blind passes in the canucks zone into the neutral up the middle. They was doing way to many of those when they stuck. You know its going to get turned over , and they will be a position to drive the puck to the net . Than throwing the puck up along the boards. During a long shift.
@@TheBlazersfan22 sometimes you can get away with it or it’s a smart move because they aren’t expecting it. But it can’t be a regular occurrence

I was wondering when someone was going to pick up on that. And funny story about the three Trevor’s, we all work together for a number of years.

There was a call but in my opinion it was 5 minute major not a 2 minute minor. It happened on our end. The crowd was losing their minds when he said Manson only got 2 minutes. lol

Trevor’s prediction (0:53 in) of a 6-5 Canucks‘ win over the Avs was pretty close to what would end up happening. That game was entertaining although also ugly.
I thought he was kidding at first but then I thought he doesn’t believe in either goaltender’s ability vs those offences.
