Great video. No question, Guentzel's skill & experience would absolutely help us. The problem is, what does the club give up to acquire him?? Plus, he needs to fit under the cap. I'd rather the Canucks add some cheaper depth players like a Bogosian or Maroon from MIN, as an example.

Please God no Guentzel. Id much rather have the cheaper Toffoli. Hes proven to be a fit on the Canucks. He is a finisher and has that clutch game breaking edge which we desperately need. Mikhaeyev, Lindholm and Kessel arent the answer.

Well the good thing about this is at least I think it means Mikheyev is on the way out. They'd honestly probably throw him in for nothing just to get that black hole of a contract off the books.

12 for petey lindholm and guenstal 9 mill and hronek 7 this is getting crazy the problem is if we do this we will overpay and if we dont get close to the cup it will be a total failure. Anyway i think edmonton will get him if he moves

I'd much rather get Toffoli. He's not going to cost us all our drafts and prospects. And his asking contract would be a lot easier to resign. If they do this Mikheyev is for sure on the way out. And that at least I couldn't be happier about. I'm worried about this though honestly. Lindholm so far has looked like the 40-50 point guy he's been all year not the 82 point guy from two seasons ago. He seems soft and honestly a bit disinterested a lot of the time. And signing him has seemingly thrown our chemistry all out of whack.
