My name is Nina and I have been following a vegan diet for the past 9 years. However, I always struggled with weight and as I reached 80kg,, I decided enough is enough. I switched to a whole foods plant based diet high in carbs and low in fat/oil free diet. I am losing weight eating healthy vegan foods that are delicious and very satisfying. I don't count calories and I don't restrict portion sizes. I eat as much as I need to feel comfortably full and satisfied. I feel fantastic, I am full of energy, my skin looks amazing and I sleep better then ever. I also have a very positive outlook on life and I am convinced my diet plays a role in that as well.

In this week's video, I show you how I make three delicious meals suitable for weight loss: Mixed berry & banana oatmeal, Courgette soup and Chinese inspired pepper and mushrooms with rice. These meals are low fat but will keep you full and satisfied as they are full of fibre and goodness.

This was a year ago, did you ever lose more weight? You wanted to lose another 2 stone did you achieve that
I am down to 60kg so I lost 20kg so far. It’s going slower now but I started doing weight training as well.
@@ninasarri wow that’s amazing I just started Starch Solution. but weightloss is only like a half pound a week so I can’t really tell if it’s working because the weightloss is so slow and small but it seems others who have done this way of eating say its small steady weightloss and not all at once so I will stick to it
I lost a bit more at the beginning but now it’s slow. But I really don’t mind it. I’m really enjoying the journey. And it’s all about healthy sustainable weight loss. Definitely persist with it. You won’t regret it 💕

Hi Nina I’ve been binge watching your videos and a couple of your recipes use coconut essence one is your Thai green curry recipe . Could you tell me which make of essence you use please or where you buy it I’ve looked on Amazon but can’t find one with a good review thank you so much Nina . Keep the videos coming I’m addicted !! @@ninasarri thank you Nina I’ve just looked and it’s currently unavailable but it looks as if Waitrose might sell a coconut extract so when I am by there next I’ll give it a go x
I never checked in Waitrose but you are right, they might have it. Are you in the UK?
@@ninasarri yes I’m in the UK Nina . The coconut extract you have which is currently not available on Amazon seems to be quite a lot more expensive than the Waitrose one which is coming up at only £1.50 so it’s probably not as pure and tasty but as long as there’s the coconut flavour without all the fats of coconut milk that will be fine . Maybe slicing your squash in long strips will make it easier to roll your burrito well that’s what I find that helps me. Great video.

Thank you for your suggestion Lidia. I will make sure I make a video for people who are happy with their weight and don’t need to lose any. At the moment I am still on my weight loss but as soon as I lose the weight and I’m maintaining, I’ll suggest different recipes. ❤️
Perhaps you could just focus on increasing the fats in the recipes e.g. cashews to make sauce instead of tofu, or avocado, or nuts and seeds. More of starch solution than maximum weight loss
