Hi! I just found this video and am happy to see someone posting about the 50/50 plates! I would like to be plant based and am trying to learn what I can. I think that is why TH-cam recommended your video. I love that you keep it simple and are not afraid to eat the same thing a few times! Is it white vinegar that you use on your salads or something like rice wine vinegar? I am curious because I recently heard that rice wine vinegar is good as a dressing. 😊
Hello Kathy. Thank you so much for watching my video. I like to keep my meals quick and simple as I don’t have a lot of time to cook, but I do like flavour so my meals have to be tasty. I like to use either apple or red wine vinegar for my salads. Red wine vinegar goes really well with tomatoes. ❤️
Nightshades can cause inflammation in the body but not necessarily. I guess it’s best to do an elimination diet and figure out what foods might make the condition worse. I use a lot of nightshades so not sure what else you could use instead. Maybe going for cream based sauces with tofu? 💕

Thank you Carol. I try to incorporate more protein now because I started lifting weights but I never really worried about protein. And I’ve been vegan for 10 years and I feel great and I’m really healthy. 💕
I was losing about a pound to two pounds per week at the time of the video. It all depends on the portion sizes and how much weight you have to lose. I like to give recipe ideas for this diet but it’s important to adjust it to your lifestyle and your body. Everyone’s body is different, so make it work for you 💕
