Im wanted to buy a vr headset for long, now im between the quest pro or vive xr elite, i dont want to buy something ,,cheap,, at first cuz i would upgrade 100% for eye and mouth tracking, i already coded a programm over c++ to use eye and mouth tracking on dekstop wothout vr ;) the only problems i have is head movement but its not compareable with vr

Yeah. I have been really disappointed in it. The games are super expensive, graphics are horrible, mechanics are super buggy, the headsets are uncomfortable and unbalanced, battery life is abysmal. I’d say it’s worth waiting another 6 years before spending hundreds on one.

Learning about this kind of thing is one of the things I love most about VR.

this is just a thought or idea, but could you wear thin water proof gloves underneath, to stop them getting all horrible and not need to wash them? (or at least prolong how often you wash them?)

I just fail to see the point of buying a non meta headset. Full standalone, plus pcvr. “But muh data” your windows pc and phone steal your data non stop. Who cares if the quest does it too?

Shilling standable is cringe. If you weren’t a brainlet you could make a good custom slime setup for not much more than standable. The public is kept in the dark about how cheap you can build them especially if you have a 3d printer which you should have for other things.

I want this for vrchat cause of the eye and mouth tracking. But im wondering if it's any good for dancing? Also what about audio problems while dancing? Don't want it to fall off and want audio and mic quality similar to index.

I have vive pro2. if I go into settings | developer, there is no option to enable Direct Mode. (I get intermittent black screens.). plenty of computer power, drivers are all updated, I've installed and reinstalled steamVR, changed usb ports, etc, and still get the all of a sudden "black screen" which lasts from 1 to 5 seconds. tech support is no help. any ideas???????

I saw the ready player me but I tried to create an account and it didn’t work…. So the things left was to pick a free base mesh, make a rig and textured by myself, it worked pretty well, but I understand people who use ready player me, to work with 3D modeling and unity is quite difficult.

venti vr is really good btw, their oldest version is 230 for 6, 2nd newest is 260 for 6, and 280 for 6 for the newest version. i plan on getting the 2nd newest in an 8 pack, you can also buy it in a 10 pack too. and for those, it comes WITH straps, WITH a charging station, and other things. i would recommend anyone to take a look at them 😛😛
