Good tips. But i think poorly presented tbh. Didnt need 40 minutes to explain all of this. The background footage also switched between being random filler footage to actually useful footage with no verbal prompt so someone whos listening in but not paying attention to the footage wont see.

Fearsome neutralizes enemies without spending too much time killing them. It can neutralize very strong enemies in heavy armor (orcs, chosens, etc.). It can save a bro that ended up in a poor position and if fearsome bro is near him he can break morale of enemies securing a retreat path for him.

If you roll 2 thieves in the starting town you have basically won early game. They often start with 10 mele deff, give them a shield and a spear and they are hitting very often and are hit rarely by enemy chaff. And they almost always translate amazingly into late game tanks. If you roll some stars on a thieves MD he's gonna be a golden god. Standing against a wall of enemies and not taking a scratch.

Footwork is a sister perk to lone wolf. It gives you more flexibility to keep the lone wolf perk active while not restricting your other bros too much.

Why do I keep hearing you say nipple everytime you say nimble. Specialize in NIPPLE...BRO I ALREADY DID AND I STILL SUCK! :)

Thanks a lot. I have a lot of hours in this game, and I honestly suck at it. I'm constantly humbled, but I know that I'm making mistakes. Slowly I am improving but I can see this a game that I will play for a long time because I always go back to it. I love the complexity and the tactical aspect of the battles. This game is GOLD!!! I won't give up so I will continue my journey and learn more and more. Thanks Overhype for creating this!!!

The one big flaw is if he is hit by a mace. You would just have to keep that in mind and don't line him up against anyone with one.

Why even bother with injuries? Give this guy Mansplitter (he can handle it with this stats) and he will instakill. And when not he still will do injuries without wasting a perk point. Give him basically any two-handed weapon and he will inflict injuries without wasting a perk. Crippling strike is a perk for fodder, meatshield, martyr or whatever you call them guys. It's an early game perk for low-tier low-damage weapons. And even then it's not worth it.

I like flail as semi-tank. Is able to fight against enemies with shield having relatively low melee skill.

This game end for me when they didn't fix a bug with peasant in the city, game crash. It was reported and nothing was fix, and like hell I will not play again this boring linear story just to finish this game.

I really tried to get into this series, but the cursing just makes it unwatchable. It's like every sentence. Such a shame.

Not very relatable but I use Bullseye for my master archer in BB Legends mod with full fatigue and ranged skill/nimble/triple shot (will explain)/berserk and such classical dps perks and 3 unhold hide arrows storage (not english, forgot name) and fast hand for easy reload. Basically triple shot allow you to shoot 3 arrows at a target with the same Action Point and increased stamina as vanilla, cost 3 arrows ofc, slightly worse odds of hit. Arrows have also kinda same behavior as vanilla shot (can hit ennemies on the side if missed). You can combine this with debuf Overwelm (stacking defs decrease) afaik. It turn my archer into a mix between a machinegun and a sniper. Don't really have to worry about ennemies ranged (even the best famed, or witches) since I can melt them, and it's also efficient to weed out huge wave of trash units coming packed, efficient up to medium armoured ennemies included, and can scare them easily (only hp ennemies such as Nach are getting shredded to). The beefiers ones are taken by the rest of my bros. Cost some arrows though. And the Legend mod has even a perk to shoot at point blank range afaik. Unsure tho since it's been a while I didn't played. Your vids that I sumbled upon gave me the need to go back to it. Edit: you have also access to piercing shot (hit 2 ennemies in a line, if the ennemy ranged is hiding behind a friend). All in one between the archer and sorcerer it easy to dominate ranged foes and weed out huge waves, if properly maxed/geared, leaving the tough nuts to the others. And you have additionals perks points granted every 5 levels by the mod anyway (a blessing considering all of the perks possible it add to even a trash bro who doesn't have a lots of tree perks unlocked).

Sounds cool but based on my experience you'll only ever find brothers with 1 star in initiative and maybe 1 in ranged defence.

My battle-to-kill ratios say otherwise. My polearm guys (billhook + swordlance + whip + net + smoke bomb) kill significantly more than my throwers. The only reason I continue to use ranged units is because you need at least one to prevent enemies from turtling. Yes, the thrower can take a single target down faster, but polearm guys can still fight in melee range and they don't have to worry about bushes getting in the way or friendly fire. Throwers also have significantly worse access to named weapons. Most named throwing items will be worse than the heavy barbarian versions. In my current run, one of my swordlances has about +20 to both the high and low damage ranges. I don't think a max rolled named throwing weapon could compete with that.

I never use the Fencing Sword, but I think the best use of it is as a backup utility weapon. You can throw it into the bag of a character that would already have decent initiative. But I wouldn't throw points into initiative for any character.

Is the limited ammo on throwers such a non-issue that it isn't even mentioned ? -- Anyway, I'm usually an optimization guy, but never cared much about lat game in BB (nor about bigfights locations) for one simple reason : way too much grind. Experiencing takes houuuuuuurs of leveling and farming, and leveling a bro in a wrong direction just costs too much investment. In the end, I mostly played games until 1st crisis, and end-up using simple builds like everyone nimble & many pole.. it works well enough. Can even perfect chosen camps with some nets ! I really wish the game had a faster leveling curve for bros. I'd want to play this at Slay the Spire pace... "Slay The Brothers" !

Very nice video! But 2 things that I don't understand. How can I repair equipment and how do I heal my team outside of fights? Can anyone help?

As for why a regular sword Slash with sword mastery costs 8 fat and a famed sword Slash with -3 fat cost costs 6 fat: The sword mastery applies its -25% fatigue cost after the -3. So a regular sword takes 10 fatigue to use slash, a famed takes 7. Normal sword: 10 * 0.75 = 7.5. round up to 8. Famed -3 sword: 7 * 0.75 = 5.25. round up to 6. Always rounding up is pretty common in video games. It is the safer option, balance-wise.
