- This is challenge run where I try to beat Battle Brothers with self-imposed restrictions.

Special Snowflakes Rules:
1. I use the Peasant Militia origin
2. No two bros can have the same build. They must differ by at least two perk points, not including Gifted.
3. I will seriously attempt to create initiative builds.

You absolutely HANDLED black monolith. Also, a fun challenge run I've tried a few times is battle forged only bros. Real strong late game, but the freakin early/mid game is super tough. I think I might try it again, but this time allow for a few nimble forged bros since I've never tried them out much.
I finally see the power of late game militia, all the legendary locations are much easier with four extra bros (who would've thought?). I've essentially done an all BF roster before, it gets really powerful after a certain point like you said.
@@CarveaHole yeah man! Bros like Racco are meh late game, but having 4 extra bros definitely makes up for it

One challenge I see being difficult to use long term would be "you have to retire brothers when they reach level 11". Your gear will get better, but brothers will never have full builds or full level 11 stats.
I'd play manhunters lol. That is certainly something to think about, but it won't be the upcoming season.
@@CarveaHole Gladiator start where reaching level 11 is the brother "earning their freedom". Starting three are the only ones you can keep permanently, unless you want to fiddle around with modding wages to significantly bump up the cost of freed brothers should you choose to retain them. Upon reaching enough experience for level 11, roll using an RNG for a piece of equipment they now own (discard if brother leaving, only they can equip it if being retained) based off of the pool of equipment they are currently equipped with and you would reasonably equip them with in the party inventory. Severance must be paid for brothers leaving even if items must be sold to achieve. All attempts must be made to resolve RNG, upkeep mod/brother removal, and severance immediately upon the brother reaching enough experience for level 11
It would take some more modding/save game editing and manual tracking, but figuring our an incentive/malus system to make it appealing to actually free brothers instead of just killing them off. Possibly something similar to the Davkul Cultist system where each brother present to witness another earning them freedom gets them gets gradually accruing semi-permanent bonuses the more they witness, but add in a tug of war effect where witnessed brother deaths subtract from that total with maluses if the counter goes negative.
I had alot of fun with a lone wolf attemt recently, i only lost coz i got ambushed by a noble house i had been harrassing. If you want a tip (im kind of ass at bb so read this with a grain of salt) id suggest hunting hyenas as a lone wolf coz theyre pretty much the only fight you can reliably win early game as a lonewolf lol.
