Beginner's luck! Haha, nope. Beginners get screwed so hard in this game, while pros get all the good stuff (they do not need D: )

I didn't do anything special to get the armor besides take on a hard camp with a good famed item chance. If you win the fight, you can do the same thing. We're all equal :)

Well, pros play on expert which means the game spawns stronger enemies earlier which by itself explain they getting more xp and strong gear earlier. Also there is the cost benefit of accepting harder fights.
