Nice to see you back fella... looking forward to seeing your vessel continuing to take shape even if it's at a slower pace than you might like. My first ever attempt at public speaking was a presentation to my P5 class (48 years ago) about... drum roll.... ferro cement yachts!! My dad who was an engineer was delighted (he was a sailor too) but my class mates and teachers in my landlocked home town were slightly bemused...! Concrete that floats? Surely not...

A lot of us knew in the backs of our minds that you were getting sorted in your life and you had this big boat project still looming. We all knew you have the character and perseverance to continue forward. This video was a good mix of your life, projects, and responsibilities. You’re up to this, my young friend!

Nice to see you are still alive and kicking and making progress, life sends you the occasional hurdle to jump, or detour to take, hopefully your life will settle a little enough to make progress with your boat and we are always happy to see how the project is coming along.

How exciting to hear that you got all those spars and sails. Really great to hear about it.

Stainless steel fuel tanks are a mistake I have had the sad experience. They stay shiny but develop pin holes. I don't know what stainless I had. I see now that 316L is best if stainless is used. What ever you do, do not use copper tubing for the dip tube. I had it corrode away and break off. I wound up fully encapsulating the stainless tank with fiberglass and resin suitable for diesel fuel.

Finn, been wondering what you have been up to, figured you were either working extra so you can have more funds for your boat or that life had just gotten in the way as it often does. Glad to hear from you and I really love your project especially when it's the only major ferrocement sailboat channel around.. you ever checked out a boat by the river, they're building a pretty cool sailboat also that's designed much like yours only they're using the cold molded way for construction.. they're a small channel on one of the islands of New Zealand I believe.. take care of yourself and your dog. You will look back on your younger life remembering when things were simple and you were single and you will smile about this period in your life..

Finn, nice to see you back! The most important thing to remember is that this is your boat, you are the driver for the project and us lot are just along for the ride. I'm sure that everyone appreciates the amount of time that goes into producing watchable video, if they don't then they should try it themselves sometime. Keep well and safe.
