What we learn't this week: SikaFLEX®️ obviously is a proper way to fix things You never want to maintain ever again. Nice to see You're still crawling and scrambling about Your boat despite 2020 and all after I checked in to no avail a couple of times this summer. Stay safe, cheers!

Please be so kind and answer me something I don't understand: Why haven't you filmed some of the very interesting stuff you did? For instance: toilethouse building, van conversion, working on fathers boat. After all you run a TH-cam channel that lives from videos. I'm a bit sad and I bet a lot of us viewers would have liked the vids. I don't know what that glue was that was holding the "fashion plates" on, but WOW, even after all those years, it put up a hell of a fight! I would have expected more "mechanical joinery" like bolts cast into the cement of the hull or something. But I guess when you have glue like that, who needs bolts?
Good work Finn , keep at it. I was hoping you were going to Prehaps do something different with the transom since what was there did not hold up.( possibly poor workmanship ) . I was thinking of something like a fiberglass transom that you would glue and fasten in the same way as the wood but not suffer from Rot that is common in poorly ventilated transom like yours. You could possibly have used cossa board , premade semi structural core panels for fiberglasss. Cheers Warren
Regarding the sealant and cutting through it, you can use something like a thin strong cable in a sawing motion for difficult access. Might take two of you.
