Are you paying for this course yourself? I like your work. It is expensive. I am on a disability and have a hard time paying my rent.

I realize I am about 2 years late watching this video but..better late than never? Your work is beautiful. You may know this now but the copyright laws do not allow someone to paint another's photo and that alone is enough to make it not an infringement of copyright law. According to US copyright law: "Only the owner of copyright in a work has the right to prepare, or to authorize someone else to create, a new version of that work." You may be able to obtain permission to use a photo for a derivative work from the photographer, or if you're using a photo library, buy the right to use it. in other words just changing the medium of the piece is not enough. The only exceptions are for limited use in education. ex. a teacher showing the work to his/her class. However there are some websites that provide free, unrestricted use of photos that they provide on their website. ie you can draw or paint those.

You did way better than I’m doing though, I’m stuck between week 7 and 9 now and the worse I’m a loner and recently moved and know nobody and can’t pay someone to pose for me so I don’t know how to finish this week that I’m now over two months backtracked 🙆🏻‍♀️

Speed painting is unpleasant, I’d love to see paintings in real time. Nice cat painting. I wish it wasn’t shown from the side and speed painting style. The kitty painting would make a great video on its own.

Wow Charlotte! Your English is amazing! I would have never known you were Dutch. No accent! My parents are Dutch and immigrated to California in 1960 and I lived and went to school in Breda for several years in the 80’s. Thank you for sharing your work and your thoughts regarding the Milan Art Institute. I was particularly wondering about the timeline since I work full time in a fairly demanding job. However, my passion has always been art. ….but as they say: “Better late than never”. Your work is really good. I wish you much success and look forward to seeing your own true voice, as they say.
