How To Find Your Artistic Voice and Style - Milan Art Institute

In this video, I go over the first 5 weeks of the "find your voice" section of the mastery program by the Milan Art Institute. That being said, this video can still be helpful even if you are not taking this program.
Keep in mind that next to all of the digital tasks / personality tests discussed in this video, it is so important to keep painting / drawing / creating art! It is more important then most of the things I share in this video. Your voice will slowly start shining through in your art if you simply keep creating!

In case you are curious which of these brand identities I resonated most with: girl next door (also known as everyman), innocent, sage, and caregiver.
There are also several tests to be found on disc assessments! This is so interesting! This particular personality / temperament test was really life changing for me personally! Specifically the way it was explained by our teacher Elli truly resonated with me. She goes into the different temperaments as they relate to art which is not something I could find anywhere else!

This is really helpful for me in my process in the Mastery Program. I'm just approaching the Mixed Media/Finding your Voice section, and it's nice to start thinking about things like symbols (I was fascinated by the symbol on someone's necklace this week and think it is meaningful for me!), painting animals and what they are doing, and how that might relate to your voice, etc. I hope you are doing well now and just enjoying doing art! You really have a gift!
