Ahh welcome back. 🥰 Glad you are doing ok and that you've listened to yourself by taking time off and figuring things out without the added pressures of having to find your voice immediately. I struggled a lot with that myself. I started the voice section back in January and am still not in Portfolio. But that's ok. Like you, I've taken time off, did other classes, let all that info about the disc and archetype etc percolate and ferment 😂 I feel I'm getting closer but it takes time. Would love to see your journey but equally no pressure on making these videos regularly. You've got this, girl ❤️

I totally understand. FZ Art Studio…even though there are zoom calls to connect with people and Milan Art platform and chat but I still don’t feel connected. I was really struggling and currently I’m 2 months behind from the group of people I signed up with.

Good for you for knowing that it was time to step back and take some time for yourself, and re-evaluate. I am sure the program at your stage is challenging too. I think finding your artistic voice is the most difficult part of this work for many people, and I'm glad to hear that you are exploring other courses, and trying watercolours, etc. I think there is too much pressure put on us - or that we put on ourselves - and we don't need that. Going with the flow is underrated. Checking in with ourselves and learning how we work best is important. I am glad to see you here again, and look forward to hearing how your life and art progresses. Sending hugs.
Absolutely, I think finding your voice and style is the most challenging part and taking a step back was definitely the right decision but I am so happy to be back. Thanks for being here ❤

i'm taking a break from the mastery program too, for similar reasons - i don't feel like i've quite found my voice yet and don't feel ready to put together a full portfolio. i think it's a great idea to take a beat and experiment, try out other courses - keeps things fresh and creative! i would love to hear about any other online courses you've taken if you have found any particularly helpful.

Absolutely! A lot of the courses I've been taking are mainly focused on skill building, but some are more creative as well! I've loved taking classes on Domestika, those are by far my favorites. Other than that there is a platform that is called "sktchy" and they offer 30 day classes with a different teacher every day which I love as well! I've also taken the occasional class on skillshare. I'll make sure to share a bit about this in future videos ❤
Hey, I joined 3 weeks ago and I am a bit ahead of the schedule, 5th week of the program to be precise. Charlotte’s videos have helped me a lot in taking up the MAI mastery course and plan my initial weeks so as to have more time for building portfolio and finding my voice. Seeing you girls I am feeling scared now, it sounds overwhelming!
@@tabs1513 Hey, That’s amazing! Not trying to scare you at all! Lots of people are able to follow the program all the way through without any breaks. I’m sure you’ll do amazing! I felt overwhelmed for awhile but I’m really enjoying experimenting on my own for a bit, can’t wait to jump back into the portfolio section when I’m ready 😊 whether you need to take a break later in the program or you’re able to work your way through, you’ll be okay! I’ve learned so much from the mastery program and will continue to learn more as time goes on I’m sure 🥰 good luck! You’ve got this!!
