I always like how Kthriss, is intent on the RP. He makes all his in game decisions as his character even if it does not help, or even hurts his character.
I am starting to think that it comes so easy to him because there's basically no difference between him and his character

I feel like Acq Inc has influenced my personal GM style in three primary ways:
1. Perkins' cinematic ambition and rule of cool GM fiat.
2. Jerry's obsession with giving each of his players an involved and gut wrenching story arc.
3. Mike's tendency to make an embarrassing amount of art before the game even starts.

I enjoyed this episode so much. Mike's quick wit really showed in this, and the players seemed to really have fun with this little side-adventure. Great job all around, guys. I never get to see the streams live, but the C-team gives me a much-needed reprieve from work stress at the end of every week, and I cannot wait for the next episode.
I would 100% buy Wizard Kart as a standalone game.
Maybe Nintendo could take a shot at developing it? It seems like they might do well with an idea like that.
Mike and Jerry should do another reality tv show 'America's next top DM' where you're forced to come up with amazing adventure modules with unique gameplay and props every week until you crumble.
Celebrity players judge the modules. Loser has to play through the tomb of horrors completely alone, DMed by Wil Wheaton.
Did you see the glee on Perkins' face as he was ripping up character sheets during "Meat-grinder mode"? Forget DM, we need Aeofel as a player under those conditions again.
The price for losing might not be worth the prize for winning, if you bring in Westley.

K'thriss might be a warlock, beholden to powers that may or may not want to consume the world, but we all know who the evil one at the table is.

I realize your comment is 10 months old, but I just wanna say that it's probably partially because Jerry can end the session wherever in the story, but Mike had to finish his thing this session.

JIM needs his very own D-Team... the DARKMAGIC-Team, a bunch of weird wizards who do whatever their dark lord wishes, mainly doing things which increase his fame!

Ryan, it's a shame you don't like Draconic Entitlement because it's a ton of fun to watch. The wrestling promo thing is always a highlight of the show.

i was hoping Donaar would win cuz this has been the walnut and rosie show for a while now
I audibly complained when Draconic Entitlement did absolutely nothing, yet everyone else's powers gave them clean visible advantages, even K'thriss.
It's a running gag at this point.
I feel like Draconic Entitlement could just be like a free Command spell for Donaar maybe a 2 or 3 times per day. This way it's less subjective whether it works or not. Or it could just be that he gets advantage on all persuasion/intimadation rolls
That's good and all but the whole point is that the channel needs to be able to buy it for him. Can't really be a passive ability in that case.

If I was Ryan, I'd be asking for a different ult. Draconic Entitlement has never worked. Why would you keep that?
I feel like the ladies' Ults work the best way they possibly can every time without question, K'thriss, well... that's always a tossup, but there's actually an effect that takes place regardless, so it creates drama either way. I'm genuinely not even sure what Donaar's is supposed to do. Because whatever it is, it doesn't. It seems to be a standard diplomacy check with no advantages whatsoever.
STALKER953 some people play dnd for fun, not just to powerplay, Donnars ult is hilarious every time he uses it, that's reason enough to keep it.
Dragonic Entitlement on the Wizard could have worked to pull another scroll to use against Walnut.
It cleared the goblin cart of all but one of them when Rosie was about to die.
Second episode in a row where it should have done something, but did nothing. :-/

Certainly she didn't release it by herself, but giving animals to Jim is like...
like giving them to Walnut.
I want to say yes just because but I think I would rule no for 3 reasons.
1. Jim created it in her pocket she didn't summon it like normal.
2. She doesn't know Jim and his history with doves.
3. She thought she was just returning it to him.
Sad day for us all. Especially small animals who meet Walnut.
Man the furry friends power was super OP in this setting.
I know it was kind of a fun silly game and you wanted it to end quickly, but no bonus dice and inability to move on a saving throw were HUGE, same with lack of difficult terrain for more than one turn.
Meanwhile the tentacles were extremely useless in comparison.
Still a great episode.
I kind of like how Mike handles the players, and he is always really witty in these settings.
I can't believe it took me a full 28 minutes to realize they put on the really cool shirts with their characters on them after the break, those shirts look awesome

I've been watching Mike and Jerry do their thing with Pennyarcade for a long time. When they started their podcasts, I started playing D&D. It's awesome to see Mike go from not really caring or interested in D&D to where he is now being a DM and game creator.
Donaar is baller since he was just freaking sprinting.

Jim being in the Omin-position for 'The "D" Team' would work too well.
Where "C" stands for some cool crazy stuff we don't know yet, "D" would be something obvious and synonymous like "dick," "douche," or maybe "Darkmagic."
Does anyone else think Rosie's diagonal-moving power was a little underwhelming? I mean, it essentially just gave her 1 extra space of movement per turn. Compared to the other players' powers, that doesn't seem like much.
I could definitely see that if they were far more spread out. For how close knit much of the race was, it actually came in pretty handy. Also Kate was rather smart with it, Like jumping that Banana Peel.

Always gives me a moment of 0_0 when mike's hand reaches down from his corner window and matches up with bottom window. Makes him seem all godly and stuff.

The best part of this was whenever Mike reached onto the game board and revealed his tiny red arm. It's as if every time he did it his inner Dwarf made an appearance. Bravo!
That was pretty fantastic, really. And if Walnut had been using her power to it's best advantage from the start... might have won all the sooner. Actually, I was a bit surprised Rosie didn't take it just from her speed advantage and ability to cut corners.
Shawn Wesley Rosie and walnut Both have 35 foot speed. wood elves have a 35 foot speed.

This is without doubt the best C team I've seen. The players are just themselves... really good,fun , creative players, but Mike instead of Jerry changes everything.
No vast tangled description of laberinthine esoteric plots, with his inability to let the players play or have stage time and drawing everything to himself. Never seen the team have so much fun.
"As you cast your regardation around the ensconcing chamber, container if you will...you notice ....with excitement....that the ambiance is adjacent in a directly juxtaposed way to a group of people who have a deep... deep... melancholy"
I have to say, I think this has been the funniest "C" Team episode yet.
My players are currently in Chult (ToA). They went straight for the final dungeon, but afterward if they want a little RnR, I might adapt some of these rules for Dino-Races

I do think Draconic Entitlement needs some tweaking. Not sure if that’s happened already - playing catch up. ;) Although I thought it would have been hilarious if he used it on the squirrel, to make it take the wheel from Walnut and drive her backwards for a turn or something. :P

Not just that but also that it can be used up to 3 squares away. She has been using it like Donaar's Wreck-it Ralph move. I also think Donaar didn't use his full move at one point. He got a 10 and also used the star, so he should have moved 22 spaces but he only moved 16.

When you win a 1:1 roll, does that mean you don't win anything since if you bet 30 gold you can only get 30 gold. 1 to 1 means no winnings right?

I really want to see Mike and Pat run more one off games and campaigns, kinda like that one PAX show where Chris Perkins was a player. There doesn't need to be this level of detail everytime, I would just love to see their own imagined Acq Inc predicaments for the C team.

51:25 how is rosie getting a 12 on her movement? halflings have 25 movement or 5 spaces. d-6 roll would give a maximum of 11 total. am i missing something or is her math just off.
