I wish I could say wirecast fixed the issue, instead we are now live cutting in wirecast, outputting image to vmix, bringing in audio there, and the exporting to server. Drives us crazy they won't just fix the issue.

I wasn't convinced with the first two episodes. However, now completely happy that I gave the third episode a chance. The group is really hitting their stride. Well done all! Loving the not your grandma's grandma Rosie Beestinger with the one-two punch!
Just 30 minutes in and already had to stop the video twice because I was laughing to hard and couldn't hear what was said anymore. What is it with deep horror in RP and the unavoidable hilarity it summons. :-D

Any one else notice that Kris is wearing the same shirt from last episode? I wouldn't have thought anything of this if it weren't for the fact that in this episode he is wearing the exact same shirt and hoody he was wearing at PAX East! I keep imagining a drawer full of pastel colored t-shirts and a closet full of earth toned hoodies. The man is stylistically consistent!
His clothes are actually extremely varied and stylish, but he has a curse so that everybody sees the same set of clothes on him no matter what he wears.

All of my shirts are just different colored t-shirts. Multiple that are similar shades of blue. Its not that weird. Some people just like to keep things simple
I don't know if anyone mentioned it before, but the Intro music and the Rap is really gorgeous.

We will 100% see it in one of the animation shorts by kriss at some point. They already said there will be crossovers, and kriss always does those animation recaps for the A team.
I hope Pat Rothfuss sends texts to the players in every single game.
Glad Donaar got the decisioner gig. Either him or Rosie, they seem to be the voices of reason. The whole mouse thing with Walnut was proof how indecisive she is, and K'thriss is well... K'thriss.
Zomby donnar is right, her morality system with animals makes zero sense. There's no consistency.

Like she said she isn't a vegan. Essentially armchair quarterbacking and assuming how her beliefs should work.
It was a matter of debts owed and keeping promises. She was trying to fulfill obligations to two parties in the case of the cat and the mice.
With the chicken she hasn't made any promises with so she is simply meeting the terms of her deal with the cat.
I just have to say, I love this game so far. Watching the character interactions and characters developments from the beginning is beyond enjoyable. Thank you for streaming, and thank you for uploading to TH-cam so quickly.

Great ep, glad they managed to pass their initiation. I was beginning to think that maybe they wouldn't make it. The role distribution should make for some fun down the line. I figured Rosie would be the Decisionist, but lets be real we all know the Documentist will have the real power.
It's probably just me, but I feel like the documancer is more of a leader role, than the decisionist.
The Documancer is in charge of what jobs and contracts the party takes, while The Decisionist is just there to break ties, and can easily be out numbered if need be
They have a table now yay, love the series guys, needs more chandeliers
So my title line-up would have been...
Rosie : DecisionMaker (the whole older is wiser thing)
K'thriss : Documancer (doesn't he already make pacts with demonic entities)
Walnut : Cartographer (her animal friends can help with this)

The second Kris went, "Is that you?" I was like O_O oh shit. Fantastic story telling between Kris and Jerry for that section. That whole stuff with k'thriss and the dark entity is eating away at me. Ever since the character was first intro'd at East i've been obsessed with his lore, and I didn't know I wanted to be a Warlock this bad until now lol.
Does anyone have any ideas of which god is K'thriss' "dark lord/entity"? I am still trying to learn about the D&D pantheon.
Technically the build is for the Great Old One patron, but the idea was that K'thriss gave up on Lolth to seek a long forgotten dark god that undergirds ALL the gods (or so K'thriss believes). But the aspect of this god is unknown to him, and to me for the purposes of narrative.
So this dark god is unique to this campaign then I'm assuming? Or it just hasn't been revealed that it is or not.... So it is unknown whether this dark one is binding everything together, or if it is just tricking K'thriss into believing that it is, to us viewers at least. Very curious indeed.

I loved this video. Both the players and the GM were awesome. It was a really fun watch.
It's very hard to tell if they were legitimate people. If you take the situation as all of it being fake then you wouldn't worry about it.
Frankly I was thinking that whichever four went through the portal first had screwed up the teams until we got to that opening scene.
Nothing is real without a call back or some independent corroboration.

To comment on that distributing roles thing: yes a dragon man might sound like a hoardkeeper if you read it on the paper but if you watch them play their characters you understand that they found very fitting roles for every one. At least I think so. Given each players/characters personality the roles seem to make a lot of sense. Which only shows to me that race, class and background only define your character mechanic wise.
Given the bars we have heard from Jerry I think "Dancing Teeth" will be fire. Especially if it features Kris Straub.
The documancer is the true decisionary as evidenced by their choice of first quest
