The scene between Donaar and Rosie preparing for the fight might be my favorite scene in the whole show.

I prefer 5e, but sometimes I miss the clarity of the 4e move/minor/standard system. The Extra Attack ability is confusing because its not granting you a second action, just more weapon attacks with the Attack action. (e.g. You can use the Attack action to attack twice, or grapple, but not both). On the other hand maybe the ambiguity is kind of a feature because it lets people do cool stuff by breaking some rules.
castlewise you can grapple or shove with extra attack as they are part or the attack action

Not sure if this will come into play, but should Rosie decide to jump into the void, monks have Slow Fall for 5 times their level or about 20-25 feet. So, she'll be slightly less dead.
Also... is it just me or nobody did a saving throw versus prince whatshisname's breath weapon for half damage?
@@SergioLeRoux I noticed that, & wondered if Jerry rolled it for them? Rosie took 15 and Donaar took 8, which looks a lot like one of them saving.
I know the players prefer roleplay over combat, which is fine i do too. But i feel like they are given very few choices about what to do, feels a little railroaded by Jerry. As long as the players enjoy it should be ok. Still love the show :)
The player dialogue and roleplay is pretty entertaining on its own, which is the shame about that. But they are choosing to progress the story quickly instead of wait, and I can get on board with that idea. I know that means the opportunities for banter aren't thick in the moments then, but if they find it appealing to listen instead, I can agree with their sentiment. It's one or the other in a 2 hour segment, and that choice _is_ made 120 times each with great resolution.
I think you'll mean that they don't have a crossroads, like a traditional dungeon, and that corridor is strictly story encounters, but I think this arc isn't where we'll find it anyway. You know?
I wouldn't mind a more preplanned set with redundant elements either. There's some advantages to that setup, but I'm having pretty uninterrupted fun with this anyway. More like a collaborative radio show then a dungeon crawler announcer, you know.

Those 1d8's for unarmed attacks without using the staff of the master. Rosie definitely absorbed part of the staff's power during their cleansing ritual before the battle for this to happen right? ;)
Pretty sure its wielder gets 1d8s. That's just how they homebrewed it. They have a page, or sometimes it shows up on the left.

Yes, that could have dealt well over 60 points of damage in one round, but that is not as cool as pulling him toward the grandma bjorn.
This is probably nitpicking but how did Walnut get +10 perception? Unless she's a Rogue or Bard, she doesn't get expertise, so that means she needs +5 wisdom and a +5 proficiency modifier, no? that has to be impossible at this level. Proficiency does not stack in 5e, does it?

The only thing I can think of, her starting Wisdom was 16 (15 standard plus wood elf +1), and when she turned lvl 4 she upped her wisdom by 2 which made it 18. However that's only giving her a +7 to perception. If she took the Observant feat instead of the ability score increase she would have a passive perception of 21, but she rolled so it wasn't that.
I'm guessing it's a bonus from an item since they have some crazy magic stuff. Do we have stats on For Mother?
You're forgetting that background gives skill bonuses as well, so it would be easy to stack ten if you add a feat to that
Ljubomir Juraj background skills don't double proficiency. If you are proficient in a skill from 2 sources you pick a different skill......
Besides, Walnut is an Outlander, background skills in Athletics and Survival.
I want so badly to watch and enjoy this series but the constant reminders of what they did to Donaar leave such a bad taste in my mouth. Them joking about something that clearly messed with both Donaar and Ryan is hard to move past. The conversation between Rosie and Donaar this episode did help some though.
How did D'narr get his sword back from Walnut?

funny thing is, according to lore Dragonborn only live to about 80, and he was 19 when he went into the shadow realm, and for 60 years, making him 79 years old. Oof, gonna be spending a short amount of time with that eggy.

What god does Donaar worship? Kinda surprising it isn't Bahamut.
Bahamut is kind of a stereotypical answer for dragonborn. I just wish they would go into Donaar's religous background since they focus so much on K'thriss and Walnut's.
Though non-deity serving paladins are a thing. Though that's more the way I tend to think about druids.
I'm assuming Ryan didn't bother with a deity for simplicity's sake. But much like subclasses I prefer to know for sure and not just use head cannon or guess work.

Copper gold and bronze dragons are often hard to tell apart. Difference is their breath weapon. ONLY coppers spit acid.

And because there is a a little fall off for me as far as metallic dragons go I had always just assumed he was brass.
And them pointing out he's copper makes it jarring. The art is misleading. And if you actually have laid eyes on those metals you certainly would know that are NOT indistinct.

I personally prefer no tails and uncoloured scales being the norm. Makes them feel like their own race, and distances them from being just the default dragon people, which I find a little stale.

Kinda tired of Walnut always harping on the whole Brahma thing, right off the top of the show "Where's Brahma?" We get it, please stop trying to force the progressive stuff down our throats. I do love the "C" Team tho, please don't get me wrong.
it'd be the exact same story if she was searching for a man; it's not "progressive stuff", it's just her character. representation isn't bad. the only time a relationship hasn't felt organic in the show is between Kiwi Beestinger and K'thriss, which felt like a joke about K'thriss not understanding social cues that people took past what Chris intended. meanwhile, WalnutXBrahma feels well developed, and the obsession suits Walnut- she's obsessed with Omin, and was previously hellbent against Maelith. An obsession over a girl she's been involved with seems only natural.

Wow I didn't realize I had gotten so many comments on this, and still am. Naw tho, them kinda folk wanna force it on us. I know 4 years ago alotta the arguments could be justified, but considering today's climate. I was just pointing out then what I saw coming now, we let it go and now it's outta hand. So naw, but it really don't matter in this case cuz I stopped watchin C Team forever ago, Amy was just too obnoxious. I don't be grudge anyone who stuck with it till the end tho, guess that there's the real difference. If I don't like something I just distance myself from it, when folks like thar don't like something they try’n force everyone not to like it too.
A crit is max damage plus an extra die roll, not double die rolls...
In 5th edition you role double the damage die then add your modifiers
That's 4e. In 5e you double all relevant dice for the attack, then add modifiers (which are not doubled). Page 196 PHB. This can have the effect of doubling added damage dice such as divine smite, sneak attack, combat maneuver, etc.

@Félix Falardeau Other editions creep in if you've played them all. Also simple doubling can speed things up considerably.
I'm kind if fond of a lot of the changes even some semantics of 5E.
