    Thank you for posting this video - forewarned is forearmed. I found this plate on Amazon UK. It's made of aluminium so relatively easy to hand work with a file and countersink. The 4 centre mounting holes aren't quite a match but close enough to be enlarged sufficiently. Description is "ARKON Square VESA 75 / VESA 100 Adapter Plate Retail Black".

    I ended up taking an angle grinder to the back plate and cut it off right at the input area and it worked great

      I also added some plastic spacers from a few tv mount hardware packages I had left over and placed them in the recess on the monitor so it had a solid mounting point

    Veri nice video ! great information. I was thinking the same with 3x ultragear 32" monitors. Keep it up man. Your video was very clean and pleasant to watch!

    Great video, very informative. I'm gonna be using VR with my rig for a while, but I will get triples one day, and this video is a good cautionary tale for people as to what to watch out for.

      Thanks! It looks like SimLab actually came up with an adapter for the smaller displays, although it's not clear whether it leaves enough room for the connectors for LG display. Might be worth a look if you're considering a similar setup. Link: sim-lab.eu/shop/product/vario-vesa-adapter-kit-3-pieces-1143?category=151#attr=850

      I ran into the same issue..I used the extension arms for that plate to make my own bracket..it’s not pretty but it’s functional and I was able to mount all 3 that day with given hardware :)

      @@jzendlerHey, I’m in the same boat atm, how did you do it? I don’t care about it’s not pretty, but as long the monitors are aligned it’s perfect

      @@unknownmagican I ended up having some brackets from my sim or something that I rigged into a makeshift mount. I remember it being a very lucky situation and I don’t think I could explain a way. I ended up swapping to curved Samsungs a few days later so I never really ran them.

    I'm in the same boat since I have 3 lg monitors and I just ordered a gt-omega stand. Do you think that it would be possible to solve the problem by drilling holes in the plate for the wires to go through? And using 90 degree display port cables?

    • @tm21simracing

      It may work, but I do see two potential problems. 1. the screw holes on the plate are very big for an M4 screw, you'll need to find washers with sufficient thickness to bear the load. 2. when you tighten the screws, the plate will push against the back cover of the display instead of the mounting holes, it may damage the display back cover and even the display itself. No.2 was my main reason for going with custom plates, just didn't want to risk damaging the display.

      @@tm21simracing good points. I guess I should do some searching for other profile vesa mount options.

      I was made aware of these adapters after I got mine, if I were to do it again I'll probably go with these, I really like the adjustability: sim-lab.eu/shop/product/vario-vesa-adapter-kit-3-pieces-1143?category=148#attr=850

    Hello mate, I ordered a new AOC 27Inch 240hz Curved monitor, and my regular mount does not fit with the hole at the back of the screen. How do I fix this or where can I buy a mount plate that fits in there?

    • @tm21simracing
      @tm21simracing  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey unfortunately I don't know how the back of your monitor looks. But this should fit most monitors if you want something off the shelf: sim-lab.eu/products/vario%E2%84%A2-vesa-adapter-kit-monitor-mounting-sim-racing

    Where did you getting this mounting plate please im in the same boat as you just got a gn850 34 inch ultrawide

    • @tm21simracing
      @tm21simracing  ปีที่แล้ว

      I had them custom made by a machinist. Just copy the dimensions of the center screws and add the vesa mounting pattern.

      @@tm21simracing i just sawed a square in the metal to get the monitor connections and its mounted great now to my monitor mount for my sim rig

    • @tm21simracing
      @tm21simracing  ปีที่แล้ว

      That works too. I didn't want to touch them as I may go with larger monitors down the road, plus the screw holes for 100mm vesa pattern were way to big for me.

    Curious, are the 4 holes in the middle amps?

    • @tm21simracing
      @tm21simracing  ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not exactly sure what you mean, but the 4x middle holes are for mounting the plate to the stand.

      Haha definitely not very thoughtful of them. If I were to do it again I would probably go with these, a bit pricy but very clean and seems easy to fine tune: sim-lab.eu/shop/product/variotm-vesa-adapter-kit-1143?category=148#attr=850
