- Reviewing my GT Omega Prime rig which I have had for over a month and put through its paces on iRacing, Gran Turismo and more on PC and console sim racing games!

There was a lot of new information in the Gran Turismo 7 new trailer - we didn't just get the Gran Turismo 7 release date of March 2022, but we also got confirmation of dynamic weather through the rain indicator present in the Tsukuba wet gameplay section. Blink and you might have missed it!

I also just upgraded from a GT Lite to an ART frame.... so much better. I totally agree with your comments about consistency. I have noticed a huge step in consistency with braking especially, trail braking, and steering inputs.

Nice honest review Kireth, I am super pleased for you, it's well deserved. You are the best content creator for sim racing and you have wonderful friendly chat on livestreams and in discord. Since finding you I have bought a PS5, G29, an ADX Ultimate Gaming rig and ofcourse GT Sport, with a receipt for GT7 for March.

Great rig , absolutely solid. Only minor gripe is the plastic end pieces are a poor fit and pop off at the slightest touch/knock.
Agreed, especially when you're moving on carpet. I'm reluctant to get them in with a hammer!

can you lower the seat or would it be easy to mount it lower with some bodging?
Hmm that would be difficult, much easier to raise everything else in comparison!
Can you move this around or is it supposed to sit in one spot? Like, can I push it to a corner of the living room and then bring it back to the TV when ready to use? Debating between this and the GTtrack..
Yes you can, I've bought carpet sliders to make it even easier 👍

Personally I'd go for this 8020 rig as the price difference isn't huge and you'll never need to upgrade from this
