90's Time machines... love seeing the 90's Japanese sports cars getting a thumbs up. Was really surprised that the Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 was not on the list. Twin Turbo, all wheel drive, 6 speed manual, 6G72 engine, active aero... there is a lot of value especially for the prices I've seen. Nothing against any of the 7 picks, but the VR4 definitely deserved to be in there. Respect to the predecessors.
A friend from high school had a 93 vr4, he got it for his birthday. Hell of a car to give a 16yo kid. He drove it off the show room floor. No one in our small town had ever seen anything like it! That car would out run the word of God and it had a magic way of making girls clothes fall off...I loved that car

I like the 300zx, I think the concept of the R35 came from that car as opposed to the other GTR's. The other Gtrs are inline 6s with a single turbo, but the ZX was a V6 twin turbo just like Godzilla
I def dont want it never been a supra fan idk what it is but the body isnt that nice to me reminds me of a cartoon sports car. Sure its impressive but imo theres much better domestic and JDM beasts than the supra that beat it in all categories

Easily the best cars in the world. I had friends who were telling me so for many years but I was stubbornly insisting on European snobbery. Thankfully, I gradually opened my eyes and saw the light. Japanese cars are simply better in almost all categories. Practical every day hatchbacks, hot hatches, supercar killing monsters or offroaders. Other than maybe styling, Japanese cars are far superior to the German equivalents in just about every category.
Bought my evo7 for 17k second hand AUD, fast forward 3 years later worth 30k now, ive recently done a rebuild on the engine and upgraded turbo to the evo8MR evo has 150000km on the chassis, work done by Techsport they did an amazing job, im at the point of breaking in the engine to turn up the boost, but man what a ripper worth the spend. You forgot about the late 1992 Mitsubishi GTO TT AWD. 320hp with active AWD, active aero front and back, four wheel steering, active exhaust, tunable suspension, lots of other toys and tricks, build it out to almost 1300hp, and it is designed to look like a fighter jet. I absolutely adore mine.
The amount of money needed to make serious RELIABLE horsepower vs you might well buy a real supercar. FD? My old s2000 was super charged and made about 415 WHP, which isn't much but the car only weighs 2800 pounds so the power to weight ratio was as much as a super car. I was blow away cars in it. Now I currently have a 705 WHP R32 GTR and a R35 GTR that makes 1100 WHP. Both are monsters.
