I have a 4WD Celica ST185 with a forged 3SGTE gen 4 engine. I think 3SGTE is one of the most underrated engines. The Legendary Castrol Supra used it, instead of the 2JZ.
I'd argue that the 2GR engine from Toyota is very underrated. A supercharger and a few more mods will give you 400+HP from that engine. Don't believe me? Check Lotus out.

It's really friggen amazing that even though they are now 10x what they were worth a decade ago, the 240SX is still one of the best values if you want a lightweight rear wheel drive vehicle that is easy to wrench on.
I have a 1995 1.6L Nissan 200sx. I've done a lot of cosmetic work to it but nothing much with the motor. I bought it brand new in 95 and still have it today. I found this video very helpful for selecting the next motor to put in it.
You guys should make videos about mods that increase your car insurance, don't affect your car insurance, and do decrease your car insurance. Would be helpful! Edit: I want a 1998-2002 Honda Accord Coupe V6 or 2001-2005 Honda Civic Ex Sedan as my first daily reliable car. 😅
My first car was a 2000 accord ex sedan but I had a 4 cylinder. But it still was a great daily just do regular maintenence and it will last a good while.

Everyone talks about the big hulking 4 door gs but NOBODY acknowledges the Lexus Sc300. The mk4 supra before the mk4 supra came out. Same thick rod internals from the gte in every single non vvti 2jzge. The sc300 is an absolute banger of a car that can do everything the mk4 can do but better. Plus it looks atleast 10x better.

Toyota Chaser is the most popular tuner car here. The Chaser shown at 14:15 is from my country and the owner of that car is a pretty popular guy in our community.
Never owned one, but you forgot about DSM... The GSX, EVO, and Gallant VR4. All AWD turbo w/ a massive amount of aftermarket support and 1000hp potential.
You guys should pop off making single segments for the jdm legends of the 90's talk about pro's con's and then the modding option to make them ideal. You guys have some great videos and I love watching them just hope you will make something for us 3000gt VR-4/Stealth RT TT guys, we get no love since the 3000gt was not in any big movies and the car was sold in the USA so it didn't have the same draw of an R32 from the same time.
I've had 4 Aristo's. I'll say this to anyone who wants one. Do not get the one with all wheel steering. Those fail Alot. Other than that. From the 94-2000 are great. Gte vvti or non vvti either way the best ones. Just stay clear of the AWS and it's hard to find tie rod ends for the rear

Buy one from an importer is the best advice. Trying to import one yourself is a total nightmare. I'm buying mine from a Canadian importer. Process has been SUPER easy.
I would have left out the WRX. Unless you’re taking the engine apart and putting in better internals you’re gonna get taken to gapplebees with just bolt ons. I’ve got the slowest GLI in my community and I smoke WRX’s without much effort

I love the lists but your missing one classic legendary JDM. Toyota MR2 Twin Turbo. Capable of 850hp with the right add ons. On top of that , you hardly ever seen one on the streets that’s how rare they are. Unlike the RX7 with their faulty turbo the MR2 are more reliable than a couple of the cars you listed on this video. 😉👍

No way I'm paying over 15k for one. It's a good car, sure. But at the current price levels, you can just grab a 350z.

This applies to basically ALL cars from the 90's and 00's with all wheel steering.
I think the majority of them have the ARS. TOM's make a lock out kit for them.
