No since this uses a combination of mechanical parts with the electronic OEM control.
This video does not show a leak. Only happens on start up on cold starts. The Normal operation is to purge the inter cooler. That is what you are hearing.
After 10 sec it stops.
This is done to remove any potential condensation from the IC
