So it’s basically a turbosmart VTA BOV except this allows you to use the stock sensor instead of the defowler connector that comes with the turbosmart supersonic BOV
I bought mine from you open box - it came w/o the red O-ring or instructions, and so I relied on this video for installation. Big mistake. He briefly flashes a pic of the instruction sheet at the 4:00 mark, which if read online says very clearly to remove all the components from the factory module before installing the GFB piston & spring. At the 10:00 mark you see he left the internal green factory O-ring intact, so I did as well - hello boost leak. I had to drop my new Titan and start over by following the instructions online. Fixed.
What happens if i installed this on my 2022 f150 and i don’t hear the wpshhhh? I also didn’t have the solenoid that the spring sits on that he has. Mine is empty on the sensor side, spring in, then your piece onto new BOF.
You'll mainly be gaining better throttle response and boost recovery, plus the ability to hold higher boost pressures if the time ever comes to tune your truck. Plus you get that classic "PSH" sound from the blow-off valve! This part alone will not add horsepower though. Thanks for watching! -Zach
Ok I’m seeing a lot of people run these but I’m getting mixed signals and no straight answers online. Is it street legal? I live in NC and we have emissions requirements. So I guess my real question is will it pass an emissions test?

Except everything past 2020 has a different sensor that doesn’t work with this BOV

I was wondering about the dual o ring there
Nice to see the oil come out of the charge pipes lol
That's why we sell catch cans. 😅 -Zach
will this fit a 2021 expeditions 3.5??

Same issue
Did you find work around?
I don't believe that this is compatible with 21+
Correct this does not fit a 21+ f150. Turbo smart makes one that works
would this fit my 2023 power boost f150
What exhaust is that limited running?
So now it opens and vents out, so being offroad in mud or even water if i let off the gas this can potentially suck in water?
i think bov's are made to just push air out, part of why they are so complex and make the sound they make. When not pushing air out, it closes.
Does this add any hp??

No sound comparison before and after. Big thumbs down🫣
They literally did it at the very beginning of the video…
all that money and all that work just for that pshhhhhh lol
will this work with a 22 raptor? is this louder then the turbosmart version?
This will fit the 2022 3.5L Raptor. The sound however will come down to your preference, however this is a pretty loud BOV.

if your emission test is anything like my state. as long as it doesnt throw a error code you should be fine...
Will this work with the cobb intercooler?
We have not tested this so, we can not guarantee fitment. Sorry about that!
Fit a 23 2.7?
Yes! -Zach
I have 2023 3.5 tremor and my sensor is different?
Awe no sound comparison
