- I did the VTA (Vent To Atmosphere) mod on my 2018 Ford Raptor. Here's a quick overview and what it sounds like.

how come when i rev mine like that it doesn’t make the sound, only when i got 50mph and up
Hahaha i love the sound. Why not plug the inlet to the intake tube and use the top hose to put the K&N air filter on top? Wouldn't that keep water out of the K&N filter and the electronic blow off valve?
no real reason other than I just wanted it covered. Air only exits that hole. I also wanted to be sure the noise wasn't obnoxious so I thought the filter would tone it down a bit.

You won't gain anything it vents when you take your foot of the gas .

Where did you put that filter, I saw that some do not put anything, I mean the air comes out through that hose, or does it also enter? Why did you put that filter on it?
air only exits that hole. filter was to simply keep from stuff building up and to keep the sound tame.

Did you every figure out why? Mine doesn’t make a sound either
Just cap it on the top of the tube and not at the bottom. That's the way I did it.
Your going to break your vacumm regular valve with that mod.
