- In this video, I share my experience testing out stainless steel appliance paint that I purchased on Amazon for less than $50. The paint that I used can be found here:

Thank you
Great job
Thank you. I still like it. It is holding up well.
Awesome
Glad you enjoyed it.
Looks nice
Thank you!
Lovely job. 👏 Leave the back inside light.
Thank you, I will
Hey, so I just came across this video as I'm looking to do the same. Is the stainless paint on the hood standing up to the heat?
Yes. No peeling or chipping so far. I’m very happy with the results still.
I’ve been debating on whether to use the paint or spray version on my range hood. I’m going to leave the inside of mine the original color as it will continue to blend into the wall.
I am still happy with the results. It made that video a couple of years ago.
No primer needed?
Nope. I don’t have a single chip yet as of today. I’m sure primer would have been a better way to do it though. I don’t scrub hard though either. I’m gentle when I’m clean. I use 409 to clean and haven’t had any peeling or lifting.
Leave it..:)
I did!
@@MryCEnterprises I did mine following your instructions. Outstanding. Thank you!
That is so great to hear!@@mrmark41
I would have taken the range hood off.
It works perfectly and I use it.
I think he meant he would have taken the hood off to paint it for easier access.
I would paint the underneath of vent hood.
Did the paint leave any noticeable brush streaks or did it level off nicely.
Thanks
Oh! Maybe? I didn't want to fool with removing the hood because of the electrical. I just wanted it to blend with my other appliances. @@ThePerfectSeason1972
@@MryCEnterprises - no criticism, as long as your happy with it. You did a great job.
Thank you. Yes. I kept it simple.
Why would you paint it stainless? It’s boring and looks cheap or unfinished.
It matches the rest of my kitchen appliances and I like it.
