    It’s $89 now but still a heck of a lot cheaper than a new appliance. I really want to try it. Thanks for the video.

    Thank you! My family thought I was bonkers for wanting to update a perfectly new stove. Fridge died and I had to replace it. You Rock!

    This is a good video as to why one should not 'paint' stainless steel. I've had stainless steel appliances for about 4 years now and my go-to product for cleaning them is Isopropyl alcohol. I also take off all the handles. I have regridg, dishwasher, and mcrave. Takes about 45 minutes to clean and do this as a monthly chore or as needed. I have granite countertops I clean with soap and water and wipe till dry. I then use the Isoproyply with microfiber towels to finish the countertop and they shine like a mirror.

    Good idea. Think I would have left the microwave and refrigerator along just in case you wanted/needed to buy a new dishwasher and stove. It would have been easier to match vs trying to match the painted ones.

    I like the idea of this, but painting over the knob labels and buttons seems weird to me. I can't get past that.

    Your kitchen is gorgeous, and you did a very very good job. However, truth be told, I've watched 5 videos like this, and in all including yours, I see streaks on every appliance upon completion. That is the ONLY thing holding me back... but kudos to you!! 👍👍👍

    Love this! I have to update my stove and dishwasher and this is exactly what I need. How are they doing now? Wondering if it’s still holding up good or if touch ups may be needed 💕

      It’s holding up really great! I wasn’t sure how the dish washer application would hold up as it gets wet often but it all still looks like it did the first day. 😁

    Do you need to do anything different for a black color refrigerator vs a white color fridge

    • @lindsey7877
      @lindsey7877 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I saw several other videos on this product where they didn't do their stainless steel appliances. Just did the non ones to match. And although it looked great, the finish was a bit off. I think that would bother me a bit. But to each their own! I think what she did was fantastic and saves a ton of money.

      It’s all a matter of preference. I bought the house and there were permanent fingerprints and things on the fridge from the previous owners that I wanted to hide and I really disliked the colors of the oven and dishwasher and doing the microwave was just to make everything go better as a set. I will upgrade them all together soon with a complete set of my choosing. 😁

      @@fantasticfascinationsllc2276 did the original kit cover it all or did you need more for the fridge

  • @kellyanne7225

    A quick side note! You mentioned the tint covering lights in your vehicle. For anyone needing to do this, do red tint. When my husband works night, his squad needed to be a bit more incognito so the lights wouldn't turn on when the doors opened. However, he needed to see paperwork and computer screen so all of the deputies had red tint which is proven to be relaxing on your eyes. Just thought I would throw that out there! :)
    As for the appliances, the only thing I'm worried about is will it match the sheen on my original appliances? I'm painting my kitchen cabinets white-soon-and 2 of my appliances are black and two are black and stainless, which I actually really like. However, the paint looks so matte and I'm not painting over my original stainless. I'll do more research.
    Either way, I can see your kitchen is on its way to looking fabulous! I hope you post the end results after everything is completed! Good luck!

    did you use any sort of primer on the non-metal parts (top part of dishwasher around the button area)?

    • @fantasticfascinationsllc2276
      @fantasticfascinationsllc2276  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, I used a tinted sticker made for lights on a car after cleaning the area with a multi purpose cleaner and drying it off well with a paper towel.

    Does it resemble stainless because I tried Rust-Oleum & that's a no. Rust-Oleum is very very matte, messy & patchy. Even though it says semi gloss, it's not, there's no sparkle. I have this kit in my Amazon cart just waiting to click the buy button lol

      If your fridge has a grainy pattern similar to a brushed look, you can use scotch brite or steel wool. Just try to keep a straight line and it will get rid of most blemishes. If it has a clear coat or sealer sprayed on it, you would have to do the entire door.

      I ended up using two different tint stickers as one was too dark to see the buttons through but looked really nice and modern and the other I put directly over the buttons to be able to read them still. I have updated the description box below the video for you with the direct product links for the products that I used during this video. Thank you so much for watching :)
