  • I was diagnosed with a Giant size benign meningioma in October 2023. This is a video sharing my experience.
I have turned off comments as I am still being treated for the tumor and I’m trying to keep the energy around me as positive as possible. I want to share and help others. But I cannot read the sad tragic stories that well meaning viewers feel the need to share at this time. I know they mean well. But for me, it’s alarming and slows my healing process. We are all different and this is what works for me at this point in time.

Thanks for sharing your experience with us. So fortuitous that you discovered it when you weren’t having any symptoms yet!!!
my mom had a brain tumor that got so advanced that by the time they took it out, she went blind and had very poor quality of life and passed a few months after the surgery. she had symptoms for years including dizziness, confusion, balance issues etc and went to docs however her managed care company would never approve a scan. She finally ended up in the ER years later and that’s where they discovered it.

I had a meningioma. It had an aneurysm in it. I had a lot of symptoms before and after. They did a partial resection then FSR to kill the remaining tumor. It totally changed my life. I lost everything. Thank goodness I was able to work with an OT afterward who helped me retrain my brain.

@@MryCEnterprises It's been over 20yrs and I am doing fantastic! It took a couple of years for me to get back on my feet but I did it. I have 5 titanium plates and an aneurysm clip in my head. I used this ordeal as an opportunity to start living my life exactly the way I wanted to. Every day is an opportunity to keep on moving, learning and caring for others. I feel incredibly blessed!
