I've been watching so many videos on epoxy marble countertops & you broke this down & also showed that the most expensive kits are not necessary! Your countertops look amazing & I'm very thankful for you explaining everything so perfectly & not making it hard to understand or overwhelming! You definitely have a gift, thank you again for such a helpful video!! I have dark/black granite countertops so seeing actual granite countertops was very helpful also! I love watching other busy Mom's taking on these DIY projects. I feel like we can be more honest about the difficulty & how to handle taking on the task as you explained truthfully about having to stop to take care of your child along with the time importance of the curing process and having someone help with the children if possible! Thanks again for such a wonderful & helpful video! Looking forward to watching more of your videos!!
Glad my video helped in a way, I have 3 older kids so they do help with the baby who is now 3. If you decide to do this make sure you prep everything 😌

You’re so darned talented!!!!! Thank you for your generous and thorough tutorial, it really is the very best out there and all in one video! As an artist, I feel I want to scream this tip to any DIYers out there trying to do what you’ve accomplished…talking about epoxy types/brands, it’s important to pay that extra bit of money for artist grade epoxy so it doesn’t oxidize over time and turn yellow. Imagine how bummed you’d be to see all your hard work slowly turn yellow. Just like kitchen cabinets that have been painted white with oil based paints, epoxy will also turn yellow from UV exposure if not using the right type. “You get what you pay for” also holds true for epoxy. Cheers to you, I’m going to check out all your TH-cam amazingness now!
True, that’s why I used this brand in my kids bathroom as a test before using it here. The brand doesn’t yellow like cheaper brands …. Because I’d be pissed 😡
@@LifeWithQueenii you’re clearly a very smart and pragmatic, analytical detective! I think a lot of people though sadly don’t know to look out for the different brands and are simply after “economical “, not knowing it’ll cost them in the long run. Keep being a talented warrior! I learned more from your ONE video than I have from bundles of other “professionals”!

You are beyond amazing! I can’t even imagine doing this on my own. I feel like I would be fine until I got to the veins 😊. Your narration is very detailed and helpful. Want to have this done to my bathroom countertops and was researching when I came across your video. Thanks for posting!
Wow, this was an amazing job you did!! Please do an update and let us know how this is holding up. Is there any chipping, degradation, or anything if that sort? If so, after how long? Keep us posted. Thanks!
What beautiful results! Your entire kitchen looks professionally done and you did it on your own! I hope to tackle my granite countertops eventually. Thank you for the inspiration and advice.😊
Queenii, Thank you for putting together this a very informative video. The narrative is steady and full of useful detail. Also, you have a very nice, artistic flair with creating the marbled texture in the epoxy. 😊
Queeni - this is absolutely stunning. I would like to know exactly what primer and white paint you used. Then also what spray paint were used. Can you please give the pics for that or links? I know you gave the link to the epoxy but can you please show the picture of that as well. I want to ensure I get the right ones.
Thank you.... super job with the tutorial... I found it super helpful..... going to do the same to my brown granite counter... white so much appealing in contrast to Dark Cabinet!!!
This video was exceptional! Also, I love the fact that I’m watching a woman do this job! My question is, once the job is finished will my granite feel like granite? Or does the epoxy have its own feel? Thank you so much!
LifeWithQueenii --- I have been searching for someone to show me this with this pattern forever and you just ROCKED IT!!! Your explanations and great videos showed me that even I can do this! I'm a realtor and have a listing with a hideous countertop.... the owner tried to do something and made a mess and we have to cover it. We've got it all cleared off and prepped and we are doing it this way!! Thank you so much! I'll let you know how we do!
First step in creating veins is exactly what I did in the second step, again there is nothing I can do to get lost /dropped footage/clips. I’m my own camera woman and I had to care for my baby/kids while I filmed and worked on the countertops and had the move and reposition the camera multiple times . Again first step is exactly what I did in second step. Add color blend… add second color blend… make it your own. Have fun and good luck!
Good afternoon my darling Queen! I love your work in your kitchen and the entire end results. It came out amazing gorgeous and inspiring. I have been researching different products, companies and prices for over two years. You are giving me the strength and the inspiration to do my kitchen my own way and without over spending. Thank you 😊.
Good beautiful Queen. Blessings to you and your family! My apologies for taking time away from your family with my silly questions. My kitchen is the same size and layout as your, with the exception that I have a breakfast area in the same Granite as well. How many gallons of epoxy did you used in your kitchen? Fore to have an idea of how much products to order. Best wishes to you and your family 👪❤
@@ubiebee2303 I used two gallons but had 1/2 gallon left over so two gallons should be enough for your entire kitchen. Remember it’s not a thick layer of epoxy when you spread it out. You’ll do fine with 2 gallons but make sure to prepare the kitchen and remember you have about 30-45 minutes to work with the wood before it starts to get thick and set. Let me know if you need anything else and I also appreciate you for acknowledging my family time. 💕
@@LifeWithQueenii Good afternoon to you and your loved ones ❤💕. I am in bed rest due to a foot surgery, and all I do is to watch videos, take notes and become more informed about the process, but no matter what video or website I watch ; I go back to your channel again and again. I have watched all bathroom and kitchen videos more than ten times. I love ♥ that you take you time to explain the processes, like you are speaking to a frind. Your conversation is sodding and confident. When I clicked on your epoxy link it bring to the same brand as yours but I cannot see what color is the epoxy. I have been looking for same color epoxy that you used, but they have many options and their epoxy is non-returnable. If it is not too much to ask you, I could provide you my email addres for you to send me additional information privately to avoid advertising them. My apologies for taking time away from your beautiful family 👪. Have a blessing day!
So glad I found you...I'm in the research phase in preparation for redoing my kitchen. Was planning to paint cabinets, walls, and add a tile backsplash and just wait until I could get new countertops.... but now that I see this I think I can tackle the countertops too.I saw a video by another company but it seems a bit overwhelming...your video and how to was very DIY friendly. Thank you!
Agree and I’m most definitely tackling this project! I too am in the middle of completely remodeling my kitchen! My cabinets are painted and I only need to seal them after they dry(kitchen cabinets I know for fact is the hardest part of a complete remodel and especially if you don’t end up liking a color, such as myself, and I started all over after the cabinets were almost done lol!), my walls are almost completely done as well. I have all the trim to paint yet and the backsplash to do. I want to do something to my ceiling as well and have yet to decide on flooring. I may just wait on flooring until countertops are done and I’ll more than likely hire the floor job out. Good luck to you with your remodel!

Thank you.... super job with the tutorial... I found it super helpful..... going to do the same to my brown granite counter... white so much appealing in contrast to Dark Cabinet!!!
Kitchen looks amazing and expensive.
This is BEAUTIFUL! I cannot wait to do my countertops! Thank you for the inspiration!
I love what you did with everything, it’s beautiful 🤩
Yours looks amazing and real, I've never seen the epoxy put on before the marbling but guess what I'll be using you're method!!!
@@ubiebee2303 same I’ve been looking at different brands for 4 years and found one that works for me. I wish you the best of luck with your makeover!
Great work and I'm so proud of you that u did this big project and taking care of ur baby on same time u brave women god bless
Omg you’re so freaking talented 🙌🏾…have you ever considered a career in interior design❓your kitchen is absolutely beautiful❗️nice work 👌🏾
Beautiful. It's just what I would do. I'm not a fan of the exotic pours, but I appreciate watching techniques demonstrated on other channels.
What will you do next? When I first saw it on the gram I thought you had new countertops installed. That looks amazing ! TFS!💜
Moulding above cabinets, breakfast area needs a new light and new pantry doors
This looks amazing ! What change different countertops could do 🙌🏽🙌🏽
This is absolutely stunning! Amazing job!
You did a fantastic job. Your kitchen is beautiful.
Can we have an update on pros and cons of the epoxy?
