    Glad to see GM committing commonly used functions to physical tactile controls to make operating them easier and help keep driving while operating them safer.
    Also, great value at a price point approachable to more people. It’s what is needed to facilitate wider and faster adoption of EVs.

    • @dman357

      They can do without physical tactile controls. Its added cost and etc. Listen you must still be using a blackberry phone since you couldn't adapt to using todays smartphone touchscreens. Get with the times man, the times has changed.

    • @chow-chihuang4903
      @chow-chihuang4903 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@dman357 you do you, I’ll do me. You don’t have to be an ass about it. Don’t buy this car then. Are you going to complain about the rear wiper too? Because it’s been a trend to not put one on to reduce cost.
      But thank you for pointing out the real reason cars are made with all touch controls - they cost less money! It’s not because it looks more elegant, based upon the cluttered UI they design for the screens or the aesthetics of the styling. It’s great GM is investing some money in response to customers request versus cheaping out like many others!
      Touch controls are fine for some things, but it’s proven they are highly distracting and make drivers less safe because you have to take your eyes and attention away from driving longer to operate them than dedicated tactile controls you can find by touch or a very quick glance.

    This is one of the new vehicles I'm really looking forward to, as the new Blazer & Silverado are probably going to be a little outside of what I can justify. Really glad to see the push button drive modes not getting carried over, genuinely hate them. I am very glad to see that there will be some physical buttin/knobs for some of the frequently used features. Some things just work better as an analog interface & if it costs a little more do be it.

    Great job GM! Good size for most people. For Bolt EUV, it's size is a little small for most people to really want to have it. I’m looking for specs on the car. He says 3 inches wider than the bolt but how long is it? I read that it would be about the size of the current Blazer which is around 190 inches. Does anyone know if they have firm numbers yet? I think if they have a $30,000 base model that gets 250 mile range it would be amazing. I’d pay a lot more for bells and whistles and AWD but if they offer a lesser model for those who don’t care that much about all that stuff I think it would be popular. If the car is as big as I think it might be I don’t think their HP specs on the top model are quite where they should be to compete with other similar cars like the Ioniq 5 that has about 320 horsepower. I’m greedy for horsepower because these electric cars are heavy.
