MiTechGuy the s9 plus picked up much better sound quality when you were recording front video and audio test....I am watching this on my note 8 with the akg ear buds and I could tell you sound much more stereo like on the s9 plus than when your recording sound and video from the note 8. Maybe plug a pair of earbuds into your phone and watch this video to see the difference in audio quality. I could be wrong but was surprised by the difference. You sounded much more clear and louder on the s9 plus.

Great comparison. Well done. I have Note8, my wife a new S9+ and there is a difference. The night auto mode shots on S9+ were great. But I discovered that when using the Note8, switch to Pro Mode, use a 160 ISO and a couple of other tweaks and those night shots with the sky and city lights will be as noise free as the S9 plus. I keep my Pro mode set at that so when I switch to it, it's always ready to go.
Yes Pro Mode provides better Picture Quality. I noticed that.

I was on schedule to get the S9+ coming from the S7 Edge. My S7 Edge network fried out and I upgraded early to the Note 8. I'm happy to move to the Note line. The tech never ends. Get this wonderful S9+ and a few months later the Note 9 will arrive.

I think this needs to be said, but just having crazy HDR isnt ALWAYS a good thing. I have noticed that sometimes the shots with higher dynamic range look unrealistic. Sometimes I find myself saying, "but that part of the image SHOULD be dark, rather than well lit." I think the next thing for for companies to do is implement modes / presets that address these. Like no HDR adjustment, mild HDR adjustment, high HDR adjustment, as well as slightly warm, slightly cool, and neutral color options. All of this without digging into the settings. It could even be a grid style setting menu. 3 x 3 for the aforementioned options.

S9: better HDR, but saturated colors in video shots
Note 8: better audio quality (it maybe even beats mic of my other phone, legendary nokia 808 )
Also, low light images may have greater noise, but to me appear sharper
So i stick to the Note 8

Agree mostly, but the first picture of city, note had more light in pictures and clearer picture. But yeah mostly s9 was just a bit better. Don't know if new update to oreo brings any aprovement to notes pictures.

I still want an option to force the 2nd Sensor when pressing the "x2" button... I hate this algorithm and using a digital zoom because the software "thinks" it's better...
and I also want a option to shot picture with both sensors at the same time in Auto mode, NOT in Live focus because in Live focus you can't use HDR etc...

Watching this on my Note 8, didn't upgrade to the S9 as everything's great about it, battery life is good, cameras are amazing and looks are stunning, will be sticking with it for another year or more.
except the battery, its horrible.
@@samsunnahar5840 for me it holds up pretty well, I don't play games so for me it easily lasts for a day.
6.11 colors around light is kind of purple and it gets more easily noticable if you have a candle light..same issue in all samsung phones. and still people rate them highly..
I have the note 8 and am not upgrading in for 2 to 3 years.
Edite: unless I get a very cheap pixel 2 xl.

Hey there, did you know that Note8 bleeds out in loud environment, such as concerts? It randomly cuts off bass, and when you listen to your recording on headphones, you can clearly hear the bass going off and coming back several times...while the S8 and S8+ handles these situations perfectly....I wonder what S9+ does...

I honestly believe that these youtubers are Biased towards the new generation of Galaxy phones they intentionally make new phones look better compare too old generations even if old ones are doing pretty good job ...in my hand held experience I do not think that there is such a great difference between Galaxy Note 8 and Samsung S9.. rest the God knowse better thank you..
