Samsung Galaxy Note 9 vs S9+: In-Depth Camera Test Comparison

- In this video I compare 2 Samsung Galaxy Phones now: the S9+ versus the Note 9. On paper, they are identical, but Samsung always makes improvements in terms of image processing. I compare the two cameras in low light, challenging light, and great light. I also look at images shot both inside and outside. I take a look at the Live Focus modes of both phones, as well as the telephoto cameras. I also look at the 4K video, and the fact that the phones both have dual optical image stabilization, and the fact that the Note 9 has made some notable improvements. I also take a look at the front facing video and microphone qualities of each phone. Then in lowlight, I take a look at the phones' dual aperture abilities and see how the f/1.5 aperture modes perform at night. In this video you will see a lot of high quality test shots, and side by side comparisons.

Both camera's are doing a great job in their own ways, so couldn't say one better than the other. Those who are need of high storage just go with note9 as there is a 512GB variant. The main think i notice in note9's camera is that a new software named optimizer is added so it give a little more extra colour to the respective objects without being over saturated, and some like that optimizer while others does not, Anyway thanks for the video brother great job. In camera comparison i give more importance to your video's because all are great for a person looking to have a great camera phone.💛

Love my s9plus especially the camera.
Why is it so difficult to find out which phone does better in higher ambient temperature video making?
I've the s9 for 4 years now. Had it in a big ass case and mostly charged to 80% to keep the battery healty. After all this time I still get 5-6 h SOT and the photos look amazing. Great phone.

I like my Note 9. I'm glad Samsung finally fixed the exposure problem from the S9, but what's stopping them from adding the same software to older phone as well?? I really hate the fact that I can't use the Telephoto lens in Pro mode AND the slow-motion cannot be changed from 240fps to 120 if the lighting conditions aren't good enough for 240. Seems like it would be really simple for Samsung to add the ability to select these options...

This is interesting, so on paper it's the same but they really have different camera setups, whether that's related to software or hardware
Evidently the Note 9 is a notch or two ahead. But both seem to be great especially compared with my note 2.
However I've noticed something strange when you showed the front camera video. The S9+ lens seem either not very clean, or inherently not as clear as the note 9. When the sun was behind your head, the areas in the shadows (your face) seem to be washed out, while the note 9 has a much clearer and crisper contrast in the shadows (your face)

In the One UI beta the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus and S9 have the Scene Optimizer and the Flaw Detection so the S9 plus has the exact same image quality as the Note 9 now.

I know right? Back then iphone cost $399(or 499?) and there were uproars because its way higher than a high end nokia phone. Now a $499 is cheap and $999 is the new regular... while i can barely afford a 126GB SD card.
The one ui beta for the s9+ has scene optimizer, hopefully the final version will be completely caught up camera software wise.

Me and my friend have a note 9 and s9 plus and we went out and took pictures of the same things and there is no difference between them other than pressing on the subject to focus can be a bit trickier on the s9 plus so I'm a bit confused with what I'm seeing here on this video

I praise note9's s pen capability, but again, i think this just totally depend on our needs and preferences though, no matter how good is note9 comes out with its s pen, I alr fell in love with s9+ so yeahh I'll go for it. 😁

So they could just patch the s9+ with a software update right?
They probably won't. That'd make the changes seem too small and thus decrease the sales of note 9 because people prefer cheaper devices with equivalent features more. than an expensive device with the same features.
There's just mere software enhancements which will be ported to the s9+ via an update. Preferring the note 9 just for camera purposes is useless
i have the note 9 and i have some issues with the rear camera... i don't know if it takes high quality photos, because they look a little bit pixelated and also, when i take a picture of someone the beauty downs't deactivate
