It's hard to see any difference at least for me and I guess the compression TH-cam does is a factor.

The difference is in exposure. Note 9 has better HDR and it's visible the most at night. Look at 5:01 under the lamp..

I think it's obvious that the picture taken with the Note 9 are tad better than the S9's.. more detailed and vibrant in my opinion :)

You need an optician. S9+ looked more detailed and realistic. Whereas note 9 looked filtered

Hello! Nice video. After S9+ update to Android Pie nobody has made any test to show camera improvements (if any).. would you do it?

@@RedskullPro guess I am spoiled from my old Nokia's with xenon flash. If you had xenon flash you would be using it in certain situations :)
Freezing motion is the biggest weakness with all these modern phones right now I think.
Great video as usual! I think it's not worth an upgrade from the s9+ to the note 9. Will be looking forward to more future videos. Maybe for the honor play? Or a comparisons of budget phones for 2018 in the future.

In my opinion Samsung Galaxy Note 9 camera is little bit better than Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus but I think mayne Samsung can make improvement on Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus camera from system update...Nice Review Alex...Thumbs Up..!!!

Redskull to me the note pictures look a bit sharper just a bit but overall they both look great love them and Samsung
Please compare it with p20 pro..and please use night mode for night time pictures as well as 3 times zoom for portrait pictures

Thanks! I think the DEX is more of a gimmick... it won't replace a computer. The audio is better on the Note 9

that camera doesn't do real 4K :) but it does 1080p60fps
The note 9 pictures are moore brightned and the s9+ moore saturated. I prefer the s9+ pictures , the note needs an update to improove to take advantage of that AI thing
First I have to say your daughter is absolutely adorable. Secondly great video. Huge difference between the N9 & S9+ OIS. The N9 does a way better job. I also agree with you that the S9+ should be able to have the same software version to take advantage of the better OIS from the N9. I also noticed that the audio from your S9+ is a lot better from previous ones. The night shots too look a bit better on the N9 as the street lights are not a bloomed out as in the S9+ shots. I continue to love my S9+. My family and I went to a baseball event for kids with special needs and got some really great of my son and daughter. Best phone I ever had. When the Note 10 is released next year I may take a hard look at it and see if it would be worth the upgrade. Thanks to your videos I won't have a problem deciding. :-) Take care for now.
Thank you very much for watching! So a few days ago I decided to wash my S9+ ... maybe there was some dirt in one of the microphone holes...I don't know...but yes it sounds a bit better. Hopefully we get an update soon and get the cameras as good as on the N9
Great vid! For me the note 9 is the creal winner, because of the stabilization and night shoots.
Tho, they have the same camera, but not the same software and that takes a toll.
I am hoping they will have the same software in the near future and be able to take the same pictures

I think sometimes the Note does better, sometimes the S9 does better. The pictures are very similar, I think the differences come down to subtle variations in post-processing. The image stabilization might be slightly better on the Note 9, but apart from that, both are pretty much the best cameras on any phone right now, except for maybe the Pixel 3.

I can't afford either HOWEVER I hope my note 5 kicks long enough to hold me out for a Note 9. I'm desperately trying to get away from the oversaturation. I use this for photography... So when you see over saturation and try editing or loading it elsewhere its a big deal. The note 9 would get my vote for the simple fact I wouldn't have to deal with post and edit issues due to oversaturation.
PS: I like how you get right down to it and even if the reviews were terrible I'd still watch bc of that wonderful accent.

4:00 the main problem in the s9/s9+... the sharp. S8 photos are sharper than s9, and of course note 9 sharper too.
That photo at 4:09 looks a lot better on the note in my opinion. Sharper and less yellow. Lots of detail in the brickwork. I think the note does a better job at night. Not by much, but it's there.

In night shots, note 9 maintains light sources better, and I've noticed a bit better improvement over the note 8 in personal use....AI is always on for me and it though very subtle, it does a good job...but that's all software and I don't see why it shouldn't come to S9+
yeah, the S9+ should get the same software and results...but who knows if it will ever happen
I can't really use my Camera on my Note9 due to it freezing up every 2 to 5 seconds. It takes shitty pictures most of which are blurred out due to the Camera freezing up every 2 to 5 seconds and I seem to not be able to take pictures and when it do snap photos, they are very low quality due to the freeze up or the APP saying the Camera has failed. This happen all the time so, I just put away my Note9 and now using my Note8 when has never had any problems that I can recall. I think the Note8 is better and that is the phone I'm using now as my daily driver, the Note9 is powered off and in the drawer.
The Note 9 has slightly better pictures.. but I think its purely a software optimization and nothing to do with hardware. Plus... I'm loving the pics anyway..... Thought the pics looked familiar and I have some of the exact same venues... nice location lol!!!
The pictures were taken in Cambridge, ON. I'm hoping the S9+ will get an update to take pictures and videos like the Note 9

Fake photo there were not taken equally focus point was not the same for the two phones that's why they look different depending were you focus the phone adjust sharpness and exposure. Review was not correct don't know if it was intentional or just done wrong.
where do you come up with this stuff? both phones were on the same selfie stick and the pictures were taken at the same time with voice commands.
Thats the problem you should do manual focus at the same point not take them automatically by voice command. The 2 phones have the same exact camera and if you do take the photo in the same exact way you will have the same results as long as you have AI disabled in the note 9. Although they're in the same selfie stick the camera are slightly pointing at different points. If it helps find a fixed mounting point and a fixed object to take a photo with same light same distance. You will see that the result are identical. It is difficult to take the same exact photo twice.

My regular s9 camera quality sucks in comparison. Not sure why sense they are basically the same camera. Needless to say very disappointed I upgraded to this

S9 honestly. I've tried all 3
I also upgraded directly from the note 8 and noticed a huge difference. Android is better optimized for the s9. The experience is as seamless as IOS . On the note it was clunky at times because alot of the apps arent optimized for its screen size and clarity.
Its not worth the upgradefrom the s9 plus to the note 9 or the note 8 to the note 9!

The big difference on the note9 is liquid cooling a better camera processor and more ram which means it makes the phone an absolute monster 6 GB of ram is good but 8 us just ludicrous

Note 9 has better night shot and video Stabilization. S9 has the opposite but camera is better during a day. I think Samsung needs a big update to beat IPhone and Huawei.

I never got to try the Exynos versions...In Canada most of them use Snapdragon processors...well except for the S7 Edge...and that one was great
