My #1 thought with your videos has always been “I wish they were longer” 😅🤷♀️ we could listen for an hour. Moms are watching. We’re washing dishes, folding laundry. So 30 minutes, an hour gives us a time frame to work with. 😅 like 💭 ok I’m watching/listening to this video, it’s 30 minutes, I’m going to try to get this kitchen cleaned in that time frame💭 😂 idk is it only me ?

Sheana was a very loyal friend to Raquel. Sheana provided Raquel a place to live rent free when Raquel and Jams broke up. I think she was upset about the level of deceit

Tom saying that to James about the engagement was uncalled for to me personally. He is still a over the top grown child.
I need him to react to Rachel's lack or empathy and emotion... what does it mean because the fact she just smiles quite frankly scares the shit out of me omg.
ABOUT SCHEANA'S EMOTIONAL RESPONSE: She feels majorly betrayed by Rachel because she provided a place for her to stay when she broke up with James, she integrated her to the other people in the group that previously never accepted her, and was the MOST LOYAL FRIEND TO RACHEL. So when she saw the TRUE unremorseful side of Rachel she was HORRIFIED and felt super betrayed and Scheana is also mad at herself for being duped, accused of assaulting Rachel, the TRO stress and expense, plus Rachel has YET to reach out to her after EVERYTHING she's done for her! So, definitely not performative, it's 1000% authentic. Plus, Scheana is an emotional personality on the regular. Hope that clarifies your take on Scheana (Sp?)

She does not want to be sent to prison.

She pretends that everybody stupid and claims that she didn't Punch rachel but nobody said punch.

And if you match Shenas nail Against the mark on Rachel's eyebrow, Then you shall see that just like Ballistics , they match up.

I remember the last three years of my first marriage, I was putting fires out all over the place and keeping this secret from everyone, because I thought it reflected on me, but finally had enough and filed for divorce, and did intensive therapy with my therapist & a woman’s group And 10 years later, I’m remarried and I’m in a very healthy and normal marriage, which took me a little while to realize I deserve to be in this healthy relationship.
You give me hope for my future ❤

Thank you for the comments on James. I find him the most disturbing of all the current castmates. He is shallow, overly defensive and never accountable for his behaviour. Any time we see his dad on the show and I cringe for his future.

Yes to longer videos and more/deeper reactions. You're the only licensed psychologist doing reality show reactions on TH-cam. There's My Take on Reality doing great life advice/mature insight videos but he's not a professional counselor. I'm interested in hearing voices that bring reason to the toxic behavior that's been normalized on TV. When I was young and watching all this stuff I started to think it was normal. As an adult, I unlearned all that. Reflecting on the Sister Wives series is a great example. And so your clinical perspective is interesting.
Dr Honda is also doing reaction videos to VPR
Might be best to just do your own therapy and not trust people on screens if that’s the source of your problem in the first place.

I appreciate your videos because I have not watched Vanderpump rules in many years but binged watched after hearing about Sandoval and Ariana and Racquel , so anything you post is very interesting for me to hear, but I don’t understand for the life of me why people go on reality television and put their business out there, there are some things that should be left behind closed doors, and that’s just my opinion.
A little footnote, I am so glad that I did my coming-of-age in the 70s and 80s and there was no social media because as we get older we realize that we acted like jerks at times but we learn and grow from it. Imo

Sometimes I find it’s so hard to settle on what I want to watch on TH-cam, I purposely stay away from short 10min or less videos. I know it’s like all the rage since Tik tok, but I use TH-cam so much differently. Like a TV. So I want to settle on something I can really get engrossed in & enjoy for awhile instead of constantly viewing short videos & trying to figure out what to watch next. So I really appreciate the longer format. & I appreciate u sharing ur insight. Thanks!!

James hasn’t ever accepted the fact he’s an alcoholic. For instance Lisa told him to stop drinking or he couldn’t DJ at her restaurant bar. His mom is in recovery so she isn’t drinking and so he doesn’t drink around her.

I lived with a recovering alcoholic for most of my married life to him, but the last three years of our marriage ended that because he thought he could drink responsibly, or like everyone else, and I never kept alcohol in the house because I don’t like it, but he would find a way to sneak it in And ultimately he lost me and our son because that’s no way to live, especially as we become senior citizens because any irresponsible behavior should end in your teenage or early 20s and this is just my opinion
Yes, no one deserves a life filled with addiction. You can support. There is a point when you need to take care of yourself and family if the person does not seek help. Addiction and abuse almost always go hand in hand. The Bible even states that is a reason for divorce.
My experience with alcoholics is terrible self abuse. Of course there's always collateral damage. But not intentional abuse. Always exceptions.
The I can just have one is a slippery slope right back to the house burning down. It never works out like they think. Ultimately, they know better, but lose self-control and make excuses.

I was trying to avoid watching these psych reactions but I am glad I caved on yours🎉 I agree with so much as well. I am super invested in this group, but sometimes I catch myself rolling my eyes at how they blow it out of proportion. I was super disappointed that James wasn’t fully called to plate for his behavior at that gig and I can’t help but see parallels between Ally protecting him the same way Ariana protected Tom at the beginning of their relationship.
