Schena was brought on the show as the girl who had an affair with one of Lisa friends husband. When she sat down with the wife, she was looking for sympathy because she met this great guy and fell in love and it turned out he was married.... ya to the women you are sitting across from and asking for sympathy from. Schena believes her feelings are the most important feelings. Schena is very self-involved, and it's not a good look

I will never forget that sit down with Brandi. To tell Brandi " he bought me diamond earrings" etc. Told me everything I need to know about her. She still cannot take accountability for her role and accept that she was the other woman. She cried on TV that Eddie left her for Lee Ann rhymes.
Love the above, she also seems to need validation from men, and quickly forgives them rather than the women. She does not seems to care about other women’s feelings unless she is their “best friend”. She ALSO went to Ariana’s family to tell them what a narcissist Tom is and that he cheats on her. Instead of acknowledging his role and SUPPORT of the restraining order that was “the worst time in her life” she has conveniently forgotten. I don’t want bad things for her, but she’s difficult to watch.

Sheana wants Ariana to give her permission to be friends with Tom. Ariana set her boundaries and is sticking to them, unlike anyone on the show except Katie. No one is telling Sheana she can’t be friends with Tom, Sheana cannot accept that she cannot not get her way.

You don’t think Ariana’s ‘no one who’s my friend can be friends with Tom, or I will cut you out of my life’ is a bit manipulative and controlling? Ariana is hellbent on not being around this person but the reality is she has to be if she wants to continue on the show.
No I don’t. Ariana has the right to not interact with Tom’s friends. It might cost her the show, but that is her right and I think it’s reasonable. This is not unusual in very contentious breakups.
Rachel left for mental health reasons. If Ariana can’t be around her ex which is also a key cast member… maybe she should leave as well. Instead of pushing everyone to be like Katie and ride or die for her. Also, Katie hates Sandoval not just because what he did to Ariana. She blames him for her marriage ending… soooo… her hate is not just because he fucked over Ariana. But everyone else is supposed to be like Katie and unfriend him? It doesn’t track and it’s petty.
We can only set our own boundaries@@Aliensemble. Sheena can be friends with him all she wants. Ariana has been clear on who she wants in her life and others can do the same. No one HAS to have someone in their lives. We choose what is best for us. Ariana is not saying "no one is allowed to be friends with him" she is saying "I cant hang around with people who hang around with him" People can make their own choices from there. That is not controlling, nor is it manipulative. It is setting personal bounderies and allowing others to make their own decisions. As for the show, why should Ariana leave? She isn't struggling with her mental health and other cast members in the past didnt want to be around each other. That is up to the show to decide. Why is Sandoval more important than Ariana? Rachel leaving has absolutely no comparison to if Ariana left.
See the thing with the Tom and Sheena thing is he also bashed her repeatedly told her she meant nothing to him cosigned on her getting a restraining order put against her from Raquel
That’s the part that’s hard to swallow. It’s not even just that he had this affair. It’s that he lied and mistreated all of his friends and it’s not new behaviour is repeated behaviour that just seems to be who he is so now it’s not oh my friend made a mistake. It’s no this is who my friend is, and I’m choosing to allow this and remain friends with him.

Tom advocated for the restraining order that was filed against Scheana. He provided statements for it and continues to stand by it. That's part of why Scheana is mad at him. Also, the money was given by Tom and Ariana. Ariana also did not say Scheana cannot be friends with him. She said she would removed herself from friend groups that included him. It is a nuanced difference, but that is a true boundary and it is fair. Ariana has said quite specifically they can make their own decisions. She also has told them what her decision would be.
The restraining order and the impact on her were not made up. That happened. She is also on a TV show where it's their job to provide drama for viewers' entertainment. I do think she should get prospective and not expect Ariana to be the one to make it okay in this scenario, but there were things done to her as a result of the affair that did impact her directly.
@@LiLKrazyKimmie I watched her on Juicy Scoop and she explained her situations in detail. I feel differently about her now. We only see 3 minutes of screen time and it leaves out important facts. I am actually going to delete my comment above!
I would argue that Tom’s involvement in the restraining order is solely the reason Scheana was angry with him. I don’t think it had anything to do with what he did to Ariana. Scheana even says later in the season if Raquel hadn’t filed the restraining order and had only had the affair she would have been able to forgive her. It’s. Always. About. Scheana.
What do the fans (not HER fans) think about Scheana? She is the most self absorbed, everything is about me, making myself the victim person you will ever witness. Her lack of self awareness is mind blowing. It should be studied. All while thinking she is a selfless good person and friend. The things she has done, ie sharing Stassi’s revenge porn video, treatment of her ex-husband’s addiction, treatment of Katie last season regarding Schwartz, are so disgusting and appalling, idk how anyone can be friends with her. Then add her jealousy of anything good that happens to anyone else, including her “best friend” is so immature and shows her lack of concern for anyone else. She thinks everything is about her, she’s the most traumatized by everything, everything is ABOUT HER

I think when there is a person like Tom who NEVERS takes accountability, owns their part, etc. it is very crazy making and that when they double down on not taking ownership of their part it can be very triggering to people who have been wounded by people who do this.
Also, Katie is the only one sticking by Ariana is bc she is the only person in the group who truly knows who the Toms really are. Schwartz is playing hard playing dumb always has, but believe me, Katie just tells people what she thinks and has no filter. She gained a lot of weight when they were together and I think it was pure anxiety. She was as strong enough to know how toxic that relationship was and everyone defends Shwartz but I can put my head on a platter that LVP had a huge hand in the editing room . She’s always defended those 2. So two strong women who know how scumbags those TWO are, makes absolutely sense that they would gravitate to each other.

I can't imagine this happening with a friend group and then having to go back to work with all of them. I think a lot of what we're watching is a consequence of the pressure they're all under to film together according to a producer's schedule. It's not as if they've each had their own timeline to deal with and process their emotions and then choose to hang out with each other. Their jobs and livelihoods are on the line in the midst all of this.
That’s it exactly. The show won’t work if they’re split into two groups. Scheana is utterly sickening and if she doesn’t watch out she’ll not only alienate friends and her husband. Brock is no prize but I don’t know how he puts up with her.
This is it 100%!! It’s about the future of the show and their livelihood more than the relationships. Those are “oh shit” tears.
The Scheana "I'm not okay" (@3:52) runs away is giving Robin (Sister Wives) vibes. This episode was so hard to watch, cringy.

I've watched from the first episode. Scheana started the show as the "new girl" and outsider, and I don't think that feeling has ever gone away. She just has always worked SO HARD to be part of the core group and is always looking for the attention and "hand" (Seinfeld reference) in the group relationships. I think this whole thing made her feel important and the more injured she feels (or appears) the more important/relevant she gets to be.
I think the cast as a whole thinks the fans are madder at Tom than we are. Sure, our minds were BLOWN, sure we were gobsmacked by the hypocrisy and lies from him and Rachel, but we clearly see that ALL OF THEM have done these things from the beginning. We weren't as shocked and horrified as they think we were. It was more that it was.... inevitable? And watching Lala call it all? It was just the biggest traffic accident and we couldn't look away. Even Arianna started her relationship as the other woman and her and Tom lied to Kristen. But Kristen lied and cheated on Tom with HIS best friend! lol It's so silly and crazy. THAT'S what made the scandal so big. Not that Tom's betrayal was any worse than ALLLLLLLLL the others from these looney tunes that I love to watch SO MUCH.
All the extra betrayal and hurt on behalf of people like Scheana and James? Not feeling it. Just enjoy watching it.

I like when you have us do a thought experiment about Tom yelling at Lala the way she yelled at him. So he’s yelled at people like that a lot. Everyone on this cast screams at each other in this crazy emotional way that’s really unproductive, but we put up with it because they’re all insane which is why they’re entertaining. I would never have any of these people in my life 😂
Scheana is like Katie said, a male sympathizer. She is constantly seeking validation from men & in ways that harms her relationships with her female friends. The fact that she can sit there all season & say “why can’t anything ever be about me” is INSANE. We have watched her get married twice on this show & the seasons that surrounded the weddings were all about her. She ripped Lala apart for going to dinner with Katie last season during the destination wedding because she wanted everyday of that trip to be about her. One season surrounded her divorce. We’ve watched her give birth & navigate motherhood. When Raquel & James had their engagement party, her & Brock announced their engagement at said party for Raquel & James in such a selfish way that ruined James & Raquel’s engagement party. Not only that, her & Brock wanted to take advantage of James & Raquel’s engagement party venue by getting married & everyone had to tell them they were crazy for thinking that was appropriate. Last season, she burnt her friendship with Katie to the ground trying so desperately to be Schwartz’ wing women. She makes EVERYTHING about herself, everything! She is so selfish & delusional it’s not even funny. She is constantly complaining about nothing being about her when she makes everything about her & she has zero regard for her female friendships when it comes to getting validation from her male friendships. This season has truly exposed how self centred she is & no one is here for it!

You should watch the most recent episode. It may open your eyes a bit to the jealousy scheana is experiencing because of Ariana’s success.

She’s jealous of the money Ariana made, she’s jealous of her popularity, she’s jealous of her opportunities with DWTS, and Chicago and everything. She can’t stand it. So now, she wants Ariana to give her permission to be friends with Tom. Ariana is not gonna do that. Scheana needs to stop emoting to Ariana about how she feels about Tom. Go work out your problems about Tom with Lala. Ariana doesn’t want to hear it.

Here is why Shena is so upset. Shortly after the whole Scandoval chaos broke out, there was a rumor that Brock, Shena's husband, had also been with Rachel. The rumor supposedly came from Sandoval's PR camp with the thinking that it would distract from Tom's troubles. If true, I wouldn't blame Shena one bit. I would never ever have anything to do with someone that tried to damage my family. So it's more than just what happened between Ariana and Sandoval.
You forgot she is firmly in Sandoval corner. She doesn't care he lied on restraining order he created story about Brock but just like with Swartz she will do anything for camera time. She has flip flopped her ass out of my TV.
Please remember this was filmed 3-5 months after they were caught cheating. S emotions are still raw. I don't believe it's unreasonable for people to not want to be bothered with him while he is trying to double down and blame

I don’t think it’s responsible when someone admits they’re not even that invested in watching the show or keeping up with it and then they can say as an absolute that Tom “never groomed or isolated” . Listening to Rachel’s podcast, from her perspective and her therapists’, she was isolated from everyone. And he did groom her to a certain extent. From what we saw last season, to how Rachel admitted she felt like she has no one to turn to, to even Tom’s version of events - It’s obvious she FELT isolated. There’s no denying that. Was she totally innocent? No. Did he see her weaknesses and take advantage every chance he got? Yes he did.
It sounds like you are judging Arianna for making boundaries after being hurt in such an awful way. If I was hurt, I would have liked that, I would have boundaries in place also.
I would also set boundaries and expect my friends to respect those boundaries. Ariana isn’t telling scheana what to do, she’s just saying to everyone “here is my boundary about Tom and I cannot be a sounding board if you have personal issues with him or hang out with you if you choose to have a friendship with him.” If my boyfriend had done this to our lives only 5 months before and my supposed BFF wanted to cry to me about how they miss him, that would no longer be my BFF.

Scheana is very performative. She plays the victim to get attention. It’s been the only consistent thing about her since episode 1.
Tom told her that he wasn’t that great of friends with her. He also backed up Rachel when Rachel said Scheana punched her. He was a complete a-hole to her.

I've watched VPR since season one and I had no idea that her and Tom were such "close friends" supposedly. The way she is acting is as if he cheated on her and she was the girlfriend. So weird and overly dramatic if you ask me.
When Scheana had an affair with a married man and later met with his ex wife Scheana started crying about how he hurt her. I loved it when Brandi put her in her place about it. Brandi was married to this man and had children with him and Scheana wanted to cry about her pain. Never cared for Scheana after seeing that. Now Ariana's world blows up and Scheana cries about her pain. I stumped my toe so I guess Scheana can cry about her pain from that.
I’ve been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for 32 years and the Bravo and TLC train wrecks are my guilty pleasure. I enjoy your channel and agree with your takes on the psychology of it all. Sheena has driven me nuts for years. with her attention-seeking and histrionic behaviors…consistent with borderline personality disorder, but then I’m NOT diagnosing. LOL All of them could use a good therapist, but thank God it’s not me!
Scheana actually has a psychologist who is helping her, I don't see anyone else on the show being open about their mental health.
Also, I think you're way off base with saying she could have BPD. You have absolutely zero context on what else is going on in her life to bring these emotions to the surface.

I have tried to watch this show many times and every time It just makes he CRAZY. I only get about 10 minutes in and have to change the channel. These people are all very dramatic and just need to not be together on this show. They need to grow up .
Am I the only one who pays close attention to the way Schenas mom talks to schena? Rewatch those scenes. Maybe it will become apparent how toxic schenas mom is.

I have never liked Sheena because as you stated, she always wants to make it about her and has been and attention seeker. Lala calling Sandoval a Groomer is quite funny considering Randall is a lot older than Lala and was married so that doesn’t hit well. Lala also sought Randall out, knowing he was married so my opinion she gets what she gets
Spot on with one caveat. The attacks on Tom were years of frustration at his gas lighting, deflection and counter attacks whenever he is in a conflict. The scandal was the excuse/opening they felt safe to unleash in. Is it ok? No of course not but it's definitely not fuelled solely by his cheating.
Get your wife to do these with you.... she reads people much better and can explain to you what is going on like with Sister Wives. She's great!
Your forgetting how he told Rachel she could only trust him.... that is isolating and mamipulative... not saying he's a groomer but he has a pattern. Ariana never trusted and Kristin was crazy because of the trust issues with both of them.
Lala’s reaction were from exactly how Tom treated her ! He repeatedly challenged her relationship and it was always in Social Media -Tom was very mean to her but Lala was mostly hurt from the trauma from Randall her Ex! Scheana has had 100’s of moments ALL ABOUT HER -this show started out ALL ABOUT HER ! She has had an albums worth of songs she has sung on episodes of VPR! She has had several marriages 3 weddings (2) that took multiple episodes to show with Proposals, Engagement parties and long huge Weddings and It was confirmed in several written articles , she had relationships with 11 men total over the 10 previous years she’s been on VPR and she had some sort of relationship with most of those different men on the show ! I could go on and on about how she was Lisa’s favorite when she was a waitress at Lisa’s Restaurants ! It’s nauseating HOW MUCH ITS BEEN ALL ABOUT SCHEANA!
For Christ sakes she had an affair with a married man, when the show first started that's how she was got on the show. She is being overly dramatic. Trying to be an actress! 🙄 they all act so relevant! 😂

I think the others are emotional because they think it’s a green light from fans. They get positive perception points where Tom has to stay composed because he knows he is so disliked by everyone. I see a lot more of playing to the audience and reacting based on the viral conversation then their own feelings and normal social standards.
When the fallout of the affair happened Tom repeatedly told scheana they were never friends. He also repeatedly stated they were never close and she never meant anything to him. His PR team put out a rumor about brock & rachel to deflect from him. He also backed Rachel's claims about assault & the restraining order.
I am not a scheana fan but i followed the scandal & thats why she was originally mad at him.
I've watched my abusive, narcissistic brother groom and isolate his girlfriend's for years, so that they are dependent on him, and allow the abuse they suffer under him to stay hidden. Tom definitely isolated and groomed Rachel. He's definitely a narcissist. But, I do not see him being on the same level with the physical abuse. The emotional abuse however..... He literally says in the next episode that he did not agree with Rachel's therapists, and he told her that. He even goes so far as to undermine her treatment. He's awful. Rachel talked about it 6 weeks ago on her podcast and how awful it made her feel, and like she felt like she was suppose to choose Tom over therapy. And he thinks he was right. He needs some hardcore therapy.

Scheana is the reason Vanderpump Rules is on the air. Because she had the affair with Brandi’s husband when she was working at SUR, BRAVO started the show. I think this gives her a false sense of importance the others don’t have. She also has the insecurities from the treatment the girls gave her in the early seasons. Plus, she is so needy and complains constantly. We have to remember if they don’t get on camera, they don’t get paid.
Scheana has always been very self absorbed and much of the audience feels that way. It’s laughable when she says, “ why can’t I ever have one thing be about me?” Because it seems like she’s always trying to make it about her. I really enjoy Pop Psych!

What people don't see in Scheana is that every one is her friend until they have done something to make them not her friend. She is a very invested friend. How many times has Scheana's heart been broken from others that she has loved and befriended? Can she be annoying, aren't we all annoying at times. She gives 100% of trust and loyality to her friends so when that bond is broken she cries. I don't think it is because she is filming and trying to get attention. Scheana is a competent person that comes from a very competent family. She knows herself to be competent so she piles on relationships and piles on the responsibility of being a good friend. What I think happened on her trip to Tahoe is that she had to leave her daughter at home, which is her very best friend and concern while having to put her self in the ring of fire if she dare to be friendly with Tom Sandoval. Will Scheana ever learn to toughen up and learn how to cope with people that like to swat her ever opportunity they get. Just look how Katie immediately branded Scheana in saying "Scheana has always been a male sympathizer," which I see nothing in wrong in being a sympathizer while your taken care of your own business but that was just one more pile on Scheana to see when and where she will break by Katie and there will more Katie can't help herself. Scheana is having hard time befriending Tom because the trust they had is no longer and she should she be concerned with Tom influencing on Brock to take a similar direction?? This is only my opinion. Some people get mad and aggressive and some people cry.

I am a counselor. Scheana has always been insecure in her relationships and it has caused them to fail. To begin with, she started the scene off mad because Brock was rude to her while shopping and then didn't sit by her. She also stated that Tom's actions made her question Brock and Lala's friendship and she hated that she would even have those thoughts. I find that they are all struggling for storylines and this has been the worst, most scripted season of all.
I think Schaena might be putting 20 on 10 but I do think she had reason to feel angry and hurt by Sandoval outside of Ariana. First of all after Scandoval broke Tom told Schaena that he essentially faked a friendship with her and that he’s never liked her then he went on to support Rachel getting a TRO against her which Schaena has called the worst thing that’s happened to her because she thought her daughter might be taken from her so that’s why she’s having conflicting feelings about Sandoval.
Scheana will lie about anything. She DID punch Raquel in the face. Her daughter wouldn’t have been taken and this whole mess is only SLIGHTLY about her. She’s cringe.
She was always edited as the one who had no balls, whinny and boring, she is enabler, good heart that gets stomped on, and needs money, and very anxious! She just knows after 10 years of being on show how to get in lime light! She needs the money! She is No dummy!!111

Because Schean was having or is having an affair with Tom! From her lightning bolt tattoo, her anger and striking Rachel, how he supported her financially (probably buying her silence), even to the point of Schwartz once again throwing himself under the bus by saying he made out with Scheana to deflect from the other Tom. All signs point to an affair and jealousy! These 2 would never last always trying to be the main person in the group lol!
That’s a wild theory, but also it somehow makes sense. It wouldn’t be Sheana’s first time being a mistress. Sheana is also so self involved that I can actually picture her as the side chick feeling betrayed that he has another side chick.

I like this idea! It does fit with the whole scenario. Scheana would be jealous being the 2nd side chick.
The only thing is if people saw them ,photos would be taken. Maybe they had something years ago?
I think the other problem is that Scheana has no identity. She has no values. If she stood for something she would not be flip flopping between all of these people. She wants to make sure that she is friends with "everyone."
Ridiculous conclusion.
I can't say Tom didn't hurt Scheana because he has continued to say the restraining order was deserved because she "punched" Raquel. However, she does want to be the one he hurt THE MOST and thats just not the case.
That scene from the most recent episode, where she proudly claimed Tom missed her friendship more than his relationship with Ariana, made me cringe.

You are so correct! As a fan from show' s inception, I have found entire cast with few exceptions to be "all about me" to various degrees. Sheena and LaLa are most extreme. Sheena wore me out this episode. Tom must have an invisible button he pushes to visibly have emotions such as tears activate. If you watch his eyes during a scene, you can see him calculating which emotion to pull out of his arsenal.
The anger and hate come from him backing Rachel filing a restraining order against her.

They totally attacked Tom to profit and also because of deep-seated envy. People say that nacissists imagine other people envying them, but it is also true that people that others envy and look up to and want to be like are often called narcissists…

You do have to hold on to hate in order to stay in the girl friend group. They all have done this to each other for all 11 seasons.
There was a video on TH-cam by a girl who did Enneagram typing on some of the cast. She listed Swartz as a number 9 (The Peacemaker). I can totally see that, and her reasoning, but it's too much to recall from memory.
Two only marginally related points:
1) I get where Ariana is coming from, in a way - I once left a relationship with an abusive man and we shared all the same friends. I never made my friends choose between us. In the end, I ended up being the one falling out of the friend group since we were always equally invited to everything, and I was the one who didn't want to see him again ever (he did not mind, and in fact went out of his way to be anywhere he knew I'd go).
2) Raquel reminds me so much of a girl I used to know who was the ultimate pick me and got her entire self worth from "stealing" men from women she admired or thought were better than her. She was the most manipulative person I have ever met, in a very skillful way. I do wonder a little bit if she saw Tom's (let's say) personality weaknesses and knew how to leverage them to "win" him, and now she is playing the victim card hard to get out of it. All her behavior previously showed her with almost triumphant gleeful dupers delight.
