I need to you to evaluate Raquel’s behavior and why she is so void of emotion during all of this. She is extremely bizarre and unsettling to watch.
Please help us understand Ratchel's/Rachel, lack of emotion and her ability to cheat with her good friends, man, without any remorse!
No remorse or emotion bc she was never really their friend. She is an opportunist and self-serving. She doesn’t care about these people.
I could see it potentially being a defense mechanism (which can be caused by trauma for some folks) but I am also curious what he thinks!!!

Scheana's response is TOTALLY warranted. She spent the entire time going to bat for them and taking alot of heat for Rachel just to have this all blow up in her face. Plus she was crying because she was served a restraining order!
Scheana was also personally affected by Rachel taking the temporary restraining order out against her. I think that was the betrayal, with real world consequences, that really sent Scheanna into despair.
Correct but also people do not have the same emotional reaction and expression as each other. I’m questioning this “therapists” implication that there’s a correct way and a wrong way to feel about your own life. Even if Sheana didn’t have that legal matter over her head she’d still be entitled to be devastated at what this means for her friendship of 15 years (Sandoval) and her friendship of 10 years (Ariana). Because you can’t stay tight with both now.
Let’s be real… Scheana also wanted some attention at the reunion 😂
Scheana had her lawyer on today and this TRO could have escalated quickly and gotten Scheana arrested. She is emotional, but now that I heard from lawyer, it makes sense. I didn't realize how serious it was.

Yes the TRO was a huge deal for Scheana. I hate that I keep seeing “Scheana keeps making it about her” - specifically in response to her crying this episode.
And I keep saying the restraining order was about her. It’s easy to say now that it wasn’t a big deal, but at the time it had the potential to be a very big deal.
People never want to extend a shred of credit to Scheana
For Shena to say, she would trust rachel, in bed with her husband, was totally stupid! No, no, no, nobody belongs in bed with your husband! Seriously, nobody! Shena, you cant be THAT stupid!
I came here to say the same thing. It's honestly devastating to have false aligations filed against you in a court of law, especially when you have children. It's very scary because our system is broken and anything can happen, a stranger decides your future without knowing anything other than their impression of you in that moment. I've been battling my narcissist ex husband in family court for years now and it is relentless. I can understand scheanas pain, complete betrayal by people she trusted
Very big deal! That stupid paper ratchet had Andy hand schena well, had she took it as it's over it wasn't! cuz California law don't work that way! She could have been arrested if in contact & ratchet could have cared a less & I believe she knew it I'd bet she wanted schena to come near her so it was off to jail for schena! Scheana's this emotional about the restraining order, not the affair. She gave raquel a place to live for free and was there for her like a big sister.

It's hilarious that as soon as Raquel started questioning the stories happening while she's behind the scenes and Tom starts freaking out and he looks at her that one time he says I believe in you basically saying they make came up with this storyline and they're going to stick to it and the reason he didn't want the cameras on him cuz he wants to talk to Raquel because he wanted to coach her some more before she got back on stage it's so obvious he's freaking out now cuz she's kind of questioning his motives. It's all about him and how he ends up looking that's all it matters to him

I agree about Scheana's past histrionics but her stress about the TRO is legit. I've had to go to court for a false claim & even tho I was cleared, the stress was unlike anything I've ever experienced. I can't imagine doing it AND taking care of a baby.
I know in podcasts she's said that she was anxious on being at the reunion and accidentally breaking the 100ft rule and getting arrested for it.
I think exactly 💯 the betrayal was really tying Scheana into a criminal case and then Sandoval and Raquel both provided heresay to essentially make her guilty of the crime.... Though Raquel may know that Scheana hit her (if that is indeed exactly how that went down), Sandoval does not but he is willing to swear that he absolutely heard her words of "I punched her" vs "I pushed her" from several feet away on speaker phone....
And yes the stress wasn't so much that betrayal but the legal ramifications themselves and having two people willing to now put you in legal harms way...

You have helped me not feel like I am crazy.!!!!! That conversation between Racquel and Tom, when she feels like she discovered he was OK with Arianna was crazy. Is she really that dumb that he can deflect with the fact that Ariana didn’t always like what he wore. And the shocking part is Raquel went along with that answer. 😂😂😂
She sounds brainwashed by the narcissist. Let's hope that stay in a mental health facility opened her eyes and educated her about them.
I think Tom was that much of a manipulator. We see how he twists what happened when repeating it to Raquel. James treated Raquel so poorly sometimes I think it was easy for Tom to manipulate her, he just needed to treat her nicely and listen to her and she bought into everything he told her. At any time she could have checked with Arianna whether what Tom was telling her was true, but that would have meant admitting to what was going on and she didnt want to lose the attention she was getting.
In the finale you see Rachel ask Ariana about her sex life and actual feelings for Tom. You could tell Rachel knew Tom had lied to her but she’s so void of remorse she just blew it off, took the shot and continued the affair. Look at the fact Rachel tells Katie to her face, yes I want to make out with Schwartz. Katie had just said it would hurt her and Rachel responded with yeah but I still want to do it. Maybe because she felt she had to because it was part of the lie. Like Look over here, Katie is mad & Ariana is actually coming to Rachel’s defense. Oh the betrayal is very deep. Think about the the amount of lies the trio had to tell everyone. Rachel had no problem lying to Katie, Scheana or Ariana! She is a horrible human. Rachel is a narcissist with zero respect or regard for other people. Rachel has shown her true colors. It’s a pattern with her. She disregards info that gets in her way. The Toms’ egos have been inflated by their partnership with Lisa. Their behavior is not surprising. It is surprising that they are 40 year old men! 😂 Crazy! Have a great night. 🙂

She was very stressed about the TRO, going to court and possibly losing her job.
Also must be really stressful to go to the reunion knowing if there is even on misstep she could be in violation of the TRO and could be charged right then and there

James is crushed on two levels first of all no one likes to see someone dating your ex fiancé in front of your face. It hurts also Tom, what is a friend of his so he feels betrayed.
Sheena stood up for Raquel over and over with the backlash. Tom also was a good friend of hers from the beginning. She was devastated by the restraining order also devastated by Rachel’s lack of anything unless it had to do with some thing about Rachel. A lot of people been hurt from this affair. 💔
I don’t blame Sheena. I don’t blame James I don’t blame Katie and of course I don’t blame Ariana. There’s a history to the show that someone just starting does not see. Tom also used Schwartz.
People have been betrayed in so many levels for so long behind their backs. They are all hurt.
I think James’ hurt comes from his childhood feelings of abandonment and choosing someone else over him, devaluing his feelings. The bullying and mob vs him mentality
@thitsmcgee1917 even deeper than that though is that Tom was like a brother to James. Tom dropped a big chunk of money on his engagement to Rachel. So for Tom to try and down play that relationship that they had was beyond disappointing and upsetting for him
James is high out of his mind on coke and he is also drunk 99% of the time
Scheana is super upset because she defended Rachel to the point of alienating other friends. Also David what are your thoughts on Rachel’s complete lack of any emotion while watching her former friends talk about how betrayed they felt by her. Is she drugged or is something just not right with her?
She's upset for all that yes, but she's making it bigger than what it really is because she hit Raquel and she got a restraining order, Scheana is this distressed because of the possible legal issues.

Sheana feels betrayed because she REALLY stood up for Rachel and took a huge amount of heat for it. She gave Rachel a place to stay and stood for bot Tom and Rachel over and over. Then when she found out they were both together and Sheana got upset so Rachel puts a restraining order on her and accuses her of assault and battery which Rachel now admits never happened. During taping they had to accommodate the situation but if Sheana is found guilty she's off the show. That's her paycheck. It's about more than just the cheating for her. I think Sheana also feels really dumb for feeling sorry for Rachel and believing all the BS that Rachel must have told her in order to keep her support.

As a social worker I appreciate these SO much. And here’s the thing with Scheana- she goes HARD for her friends (especially Raquel- she spent the whole season defending her when allegations and suspicions started to arise) AND she falls hard for men. So she wears her emotions on her sleeve at essentially all times, and it makes her prone to hard core emotional breakdowns- which yeah tbh may be a bit exaggerated, but I feel that they’re genuine.
The restraining order didn’t help either…

Scheana is upset because Rachel filed a temporary restraining order on Scheana, and Tom lied about Scheana physically assaulting (punching) Rachel. Tom also told Scheana that their (Tom and Scheana’s) friendship was not that deep. When Rachel and James broke up, Scheana let Rachel stay at her place in LA and Scheana paid for the rent, this went on for several months!
also on her podcast scheana said that the temporary restraining order had her address on it. one night she was coming home with her daughter and paparazzi were looking for her and she was terrified. I think as a mom this terrified her because it was just her and her baby

It’s not shocking to most people. Someone slapping someone on the ass when they’re wasted/coked out is much different than someone doing the same while sober. Same with cheating, if James cheated while wasted it’s much less damaging for the other party than if he did it completely sober like Tom did for months.
@@ValleyRose21 Tom is disgusting but the affair was consensual. James got kicked out and they lost the gig for sexual assault. That’s a big difference. I’m not shocked he did it but shocked he got a pass from Andy and the women.
I haven’t seen anybody, anywhere make the comment- and I’m wondering if I’m the only one who saw the hypocrisy in this- but Tom screaming about needing some off camera time so he and Raquel could relax and not be watching what they say when his whole blame game with Ariana was how she wouldn’t show stuff on camera and put on a show and they watched what they said. He tried to make it out like she silenced him and edited them and he was the honest, rational one who went to producers and said “it’s not fair to everyone else that we aren’t be forthcoming” and yet here we see how he deliberately tries to hide and discuss things off camera.
I know it’s been pointed out what a hypocrite he is and slimy but I just sit there and I’m like “does anybody else see what he’s doing here?!?!”

Scheena is historically histrionic (me too, so no shade-just fact). But…two of her best friends lied to her, took advantage of her naïveté AND were sleeping together. Add to that the falsified RO, I kinda get the tears.
Scheana wasn’t just crying because of the affair, i believe it really was the combination of finding out about the affair while she was with Rachel after they just did an interview, the fact that Scheana has not only stood up for Rachel but took her in, made her part of her family, PAID FOR AN APARTMENT FOR HER which inevitably brings feeling of guilt too because she’s also so close to Sandoval and she probably feel like she enabled it somehow and of course the ultimate betrayal of Rachel filling a restraining order against Scheana just because she “punched/shoved” Rachel after finding out everything. I feel so bad for Scheana….
Scheana isn’t blowing anything out of proportion. Yes, she’s upset because she feels betrayed by her friends, but mostly betrayed by Rachel! She served her with a restraining order! The same person she took in, put a roof over her head and supported emotionally. This is why she’s so upset. She had a court date and was worried about being separated from her little girl. Some of your comments don’t track.

I started following you with the sister wives stuff, and I’ve always loved your commentary! A lot of your ideas align with the things I’ve said (about sister wives and VPR) for a hot minute. I will say, I’ve had a few moments where I’ve disagreed, but this whole thing about Scheana crying kinda got to me… and I’m not necessarily a Scheana fan. Watching her break down about the level of betrayal (the restraining order, the accusation of violence, and the affair) from people that she trusted, rode for, and cared about was the first time I had felt “seen”, about a situation I’ve been going through (massive betrayal) with my in-laws. I don’t think it was over done, but that she was still in the trenches of grieving and processing, and then put in front of a camera 2-3 weeks later, so what we are seeing is simply raw emotion. When your world gets shaken up that badly, it’s heartbreaking… but when you realize that it’s affecting your kids? It’s devastating. At least for me it was..

IMO Lala is mad bc she thought Randall was rich and successfull, turns out he was'nt. She said she stopped sleeping with him the second she got pregnant, that was well over a year before she caught him "cheating". Almost since the beginning Lala has been rewriting her history with Randall, and she's mad she must share custody with a sleazy person who looks like Big Ed, but she put herself in this position. She's not a victim

I agree she did put herself in that position. But no matter what, nobody deserves to be treated the way he did her. When you become a mom everything you knew in life is over and all that matters now is your baby and protecting your baby and you'll do anything to do so and that is what she is doing and you cannot blame her for reacting. I'm a mama there of three and if I was going through the situation she is and had to hand my child over to that disgusting piece of trash I would be in a million pieces and she's a strong strong woman and she is still young and now she's a mom and now she's a single mom having to deal with the monster as a father.
Lala just wants it to be about her. She's so full of herself. She needs to go and take care of her child instead of wanting to be on a show that is so over rated.

Love your reactions, excited to see the next. I’d also be interested in if you think Raquel may be on the spectrum, dealing with trauma, overly medicated or any of the other speculations. I don’t know why exactly, but I have empathy for her.
I can understand Scheana. It can be devastating when to find out someone you really care about isn't who you thought they were. In Scheana's case she is trying to absorb the fact that not one but two of her close friends aren't at all who she thought they were. 😳😳😳

Scheana was so emotional because Tom told her Raquel hired a PI to dig up dirt on her and street camera footage of the alleged slap for the court date...but it was ultimately dropped. She felt like two former friends were trying to jam her up legally and financially.
God, they are beyond disgusting! And utterly stupid! If they would back down, keep apologizing, express sympathy for the REAL victims, and own up to being completely ans solely responsible for this debaucle they have visited upon their friends, family, employers, investors, and fans, it would eventually blow over and everyone would just move on.(Out of boredom, if nothing else). But instead, the keep launching A-Bombs in an attempt to deflect up to the point of no return. Which takes them merely from sub-par humans that cannot be liked or trusted to utterly despicible monsters who everyone wants to see fail and be punished.

The reason Scheana was so emotional was because she continued to defend Rachel against everyone else. She probably feels very betrayed, blindsided, and a bit stupid… she went against other cast mates to defend Rachel and Tom, ultimately blowing up in her face. She gets served with a restraining order and she loses 2 friends. It’s a lot.

It's been crazy, there is a lot to unpack. For one thing Scheana's legal situation was pretty serious, I think it's warranted for her to feel the betrayal, because all she ever did was stick up for Raquel, Scheana was not only made a fool of and even let her stay in her house, but then she's dealing with the court system. This affair TOTALLY affected her. Shit like that would make me question who my friends really are. It doesn't matter that it wasn't done to her. As for Ally, on the one hand I feel that she should run for the hills, but on the other... Everyone deserves somebody in their lives, maybe her being there will help him. Also, Ally checks James and she lets him know when he's acting like an idiot, she did it many times over the season. I hope he gets it together though. Ally is not going to stick it out the way Raquel did. Lala is just feeling the consequences but doesn't deserve the b.s. with Randall. She was very naive when it came to him, but who hasn't made a mistake in their lives right? and Raquel and Tom, they are living in another reality. Yeah, they got notoriety from this but long term, they don't have a future together.

The thing about Lala Kent is that she seems to be one of those people who talk Big game. But in fact, they do the fraction of what they talk about.
Sheena was so upset because it did effect her life greatly. She lost two friends because they hurt her third friend in a horrendous way. Friendship breakups can hurt like other relationships because you think you're going friends with this person forever and then they go and ruin it.
Ariana also gave an ultimatum in the finale saying she will not have any friends of hers that are friends with the worm with a mustache.
Pop Psych - you are correct....tooo much said by everyone about nothing....everyone is tooting their own ego....no one in the history of the world has ever cheated on their partner......are they all 15 years old mentally......no it's bull shixt
Scheana is an emotional person & I have never cared for her at all, but I felt this one for her. She has a legal case against her now bc two people she loved and trusted betrayed her actual best friend, Ariana. She lost two friends, has a legal battle to fight against someone she literally took care of. She’s just been through a lot.
What Sheana was so upset about is that she was served a temporary restraining order by Raquel. This prevented Sheana from being within 100 yards of her until the hearing 3 weeks from being served. A big conflict with filming the reunion within that time.
So what. SHEENA SHOULD NOT HAVE ASSAULTED RAQUEL IN THE FIRST PLACE.
I'm not sure if you know this but Rachel/Raquel got a restraining order against Sheana so she is not just angry about her friends but her "friend" but her in legal jeopardy.
And comes with a cost of attorney fees, time and worry!! Courts are NOT for the children’s best interest.

Don't know if you watched the extended version or not if you didn't you should. I am just rewatching from the beginning and I would love you to watch and discuss at least seasons 1-3 that's when all the affairs and partner swapping was happening.

Scheana is also upset about the restraining order. She took Rachel in and was a good friend to her. Then to be slapped with a TRO after finding out about the affair was really emotional for her as a good friend over something that she didn't do (allegedly punching Rachel). Hope that clears it up!

I agree with the lack of empathy comment. Even I started to tear up watching Scheana describe her baby hyperventilating because her mommy was having a panic attack.
Most men aren't mature enough to say "our relationship is not meeting my needs and expectations and I am leaving this relationship" and THEN get involved with someone new. It is very common for a man-child to create a false narrative about their current relationship after cheating in order to justify cheating, which is never justifiable. Lived it. Twice. I got a dog and will remain single.
Interesting point, however, the only people that jumps into another relationship, when they’re already in a relationship are narcissists. My opinion: The lack of maturity is not the issue, it takes a special kind of evil to do what Sandoval and Rachel did. There’s a lack of empathy, and no regards for Ariana’s feelings. There is no justification.
I (sadly) agree with that. I think 75% or more men do not leave a relationship until they have something or someone else to go to.

I think Lisa might leave the show. They are moving to Vegas because they are opening a restaurant there. But I can't emagine they will leave LA permanently. But, Bravo asked the cast to hold off on signing their contracts until the last reunion is over, so.....maybe not.
Scheana is broken hearted because she was betrayed as well. Taking in a homeless friend, defending them, trusting them, damaging other relationships because of defending her, and she gets a restraining order in return.

It definitely does affect sheena's life directly. She rode hard for Rachel and defended her when everybody else wanted to talk about her. And yes she is upset about the affair because her and Arianna have been best friends even before this show aired and her heart breaks for her friend. All of this ABSOLUTELY takes a toll on scheanna in her own way and she has every right to feel how she does..come on doc...watch the shows past and present before analyzing something you're not completely familiar with..

I don't know if James' anger is all for attention; there is speculation that Raquel and Sandoval were having the affair back when she was engaged to James and THAT is why she broke things off. I think for him, it's a betrayal of Tom's friendship and the fact that it's his ex-fiancee. Plus, James moved on with Ally in a matter of weeks; I doubt James is/was completely over Raquel. All of that could definitely factor into his anger, besides just wanting the attention at the reunion (which NO DOUBT is a factor here lol).
I do think he is outraged and hurt because one of his best friends is screwing the woman who he loved and who hurt him by breaking off their engagement. ( No doubt, he is stll in love with her). Behind his and everybody elses back. Something interesting-I was suprised that James did not tell Rachel to butt out of his relationship with Ally. In retrospect, it took a hell of a lot of nerve on Rachels part!
Seeing how vulnerable James gets with Lisa, I fully believe he is a true softy but hides his struggles behind substances and an outwardly robust personality. When you’re heart completely breaks in a breakup, it’s quite easy to move on so fast coming from experience. A relationship is often “over” internally for both parties months before the actual break up.

Scheana was upset because raquel filed a false police report against her for assualt claiming that she punches her in the face. Then filed a request for a restraining order which was granted. Scheana was upset and distraught over that. Not the affair. Scheana has never shown any sort of aggression on the show in 11 years it's been on. She's had a hard time even verbally standing up for herself. The punch never happened.
Scheana was part of the original cast, they started filing 10 years ago.
They were a group of friends and worked and slept together before that.
It's a bit incestuous in my eyes, but they were younger then and as dysfunctional as they are, they're not only friends, they're family.
They've all seen each other through abusive relationships, falling in love, fighting, making up, engagements weddings, pregmamcies, miscarriages, divorces, falling out, making up, losing loved one's, losing furbabies, housing each other if someone was without a place to sleep and all of this often on camera. Together due to VPR they go through an extreme amount of judgement whether love or hate online.
It's not a bond any of us know. It's intense. Scheana is legitimately feeling destroyed that a girlfriend she thought was lovely is toxic and that a mate she loved like a brother cheated on the woman who throughout everything, she never fell out with, never fought with, never missed a beat with.
Also the legal implications of the RO aren't lightweight. She could have been arrested over what? She pushed Rachel. There's been worse fights on camera and no one called an audible and got a restraining order.
There's so much to unpack that you wouldn't get if you didn't know all that.

Scheana’s response in that moment was about Rachel falsely accusing her of assault, and taking her to court for a restraining order.
She’s upset because these two work together on this show, and that puts a lot of turmoil into Scheana’s future employment. She spoke on her podcast about it with her lawyer, because even up to the day of filming this reunion, they weren’t sure if Scheana’s would be able to be there if the logistics weren’t in place to keep them separated.
It’s also scary, because Scheana’s husband is an immigrant, and criminal convictions on your record can be a barrier in your sponsorship of someone becoming a United States citizen. Though this wouldn’t have prevented her from sponsoring Brock, it’s just another hurdle to jump in an already stressful situation.
Plus, when someone has a clean record, no one wants false claims of violence made against them. Especially as a mother with a small child.
I think it important to note James felt as if his friends chose Raquel over him after the breakup that was something that came up this season. He was hurt by how he perceived his friends were treating him in comparison to Raquel when he was on the show first and they met her through him.
Rachael filed a restraining order against Schena which has been really tough for her. Then Rachael drops the RO at the reunion and notifies Schena through Andy since they can’t be within 100 ft of each other.

James has been rewarded for acting out and he seeks love by doing that as an adult. He is an alcoholic and an addict.

Scheana’s emotions were more geared towards the stress of the restraining order. I think she just added feeling betrayed because she had been friends with Sandoval for 14 years, & was extremely close to Raquel. She let Raquel live in her apartment in the city for free. This may have been one of the first times she truly realized that her friendship with Raquel was over. I think it was also partially due to the restraining order being dropped. Possibly just letting the stress flow from her. It definitely could’ve been overblown. But, being a fan of the show for many years, Scheana is an emotional person, so her reaction is pretty consistent.
The loss of a cherished friendship by being totally and utterly betrayed is devastating.
