When I was a kid a buddy of mine had a poster for this movie. Could have never imagined the kind of rabbit hole that was behind it. Never seen it or even seen a copy of it in the video store back in the day. Now I gotta see it.

An excellent review...funny and entertaining. You described everything perfectly-lame and awesome-really bad and oddly funny-the weirdest thing I've ever done-and I've done some pretty weird stuff. Two things: Willard's name is pronounced Pew...and the script was never serious. It was actually very funny and DeLaurentis thought it was going to be the next Crocodile Dundee. To my horror, Gary began rewriting and making it kooky on the set. Thanks for the review. We needed you 25 years ago.
I asked her? She contacted me last year to let me know she liked my work. We got to chatting and became friends. Since I was already well aware of her work (which I enjoy) I thought it would be cool to do a video together. We cover similar movies so doing this just made sense. It was a lot of fun.
No intention of doing so. I've never done a crossover before and since Allison and I cover similar movies, we thought it would be fun to do. (and it was) Plus she has a much, much larger audience than I do. So by doing this one video my views (on Blip) quadrupled. I'm just trying to do some new stuff every once in a while. I think after 3 years only doing 1 crossover is pretty admirable. :)
The movie was an oddity that it didn't show a lot of death but frequently showed the aftermath. In this scene he's driving through town shooting everyone but you don't see them dying. Then, shortly after is the trash truck scene where he has all the bodies strung up.
Loved this review the first time and I liked it again. This movie is so cool and I was shocked it was the Craig Ferguson announcer. Also it shows how sad hollywood is it is slightly better now but still most actors only really get one shot.

Wow, that B movie bingo sounds fantastic. I would have loved to have seen this on the big screen. Oh well, maybe it will make its way out to one of the venues on the East Coast.

The amorality of Traxx is what ruined it for me. It’s too bad because apart from that, I really loved how eighties this movie is, and its unselfconscious pursuit of showing cool things happening.
Lets see, Power Rangers, Ghoulies, and the original Rollerball should be coming sometime over the next year. I still have to see Ready to Rumble. I love Mallrats but Kevin's stuff is pretty well known already. Nah to Look who's talking...also Ernest films, while I like them, have been done to death. You're right. I guess I can try Buy Backs, or Goodwill and that's about it. The only time I be an Argh Pirate! Is when it's not available to DVD or BD and I only have about 10 of these out of the other 896 titles I purchased. LOL
