+GoodBadFlicks "You can goof on Hulk Hogan all you want for his movie choices but they are still not as bad as The Tooth Fairy" Jesus.... only just recovered from choking on my coffee with laughter... Damn that is so true! At least Hogan played to his strengths as it were... He knew after No Holds Barred that he was never going to be a serious actor....
You're right about that one. I always thought that this flick somehow *does* feel like a feature length sitcom pilot. Sort of like the "Harry and the Hendersons" of the 90's.
THANK YOU for defending this movie to an extent....even though I was just a kid, I enjoyed it, but never watched any of hogans movies after....no holds barred and suburban commando are all I ever cared for from him
i made that same face the first time i heard Taker talk like that, me and my aunt laughed our asses off and since we didnt hear taker's voice before that, we was like "what the f***??"
I saw this when I was kid, and loved it. Terry's not the best actor, but he's got lots of atheltic prow-sess, and charisma. Lots of wrestlers been in movies, but when I was kid, I wanted to see WARRIOR in a movie! "THIS MOVIE..HAS HE POWER OF THE QUASAR IN IT'S BLOOD..HOAK HOGAN! AND THE WARRIORS FROM THE HEAVENS CAME TO MEEEE..AND SAID..."
@Nyaemal Hrruna Holy shit...THOSE comics.....I talked to Brimstone about them at a con since he was doing a comic...and he said "Yeah, I read'em....They sucked!" He said it.
I actually like that they used Shelly Duval as the wife, the nerdy guy with a hot wife is too damned cliche she's just a plain looking woman with an average husband. As for Hulk Hogans' acting 3 words baby THUNDER IN PARADISE I fucking LOVED that show
love the 90s so much, but as much as I love the 90s. I have to say I love the 80s more. the great thing about the 90s is you have the 90s and you still have all the 80s stuff that wasn't that far off
I don’t even have to watch this more than once a year I still know pretty much every line in the movie by heart… I will never not love this movie I loved it when I was a little kid and I love it now just in a different way. Now it’s not as bad ass as it was then but it tries so hard to be and it makes me smile and laugh so brownie points.
@csandreas I wanted to give the Rock the benefit of the doubt so I checked it out. Wow, I was so wrong, the Tooth Fairy is embarrassingly bad. Thankfully he isn't under Disney contract anymore and seems to be back to making entertaining movies.
Suburban Commando is an absolute gem, it'll always have a special place with me. I think it's Hulk Hogan's best film, I know that's not hard to do but it's still awesome, just like this video, good tribute, I love your tongue in cheek humour, awesome.
This was originally meant for Devito and Arnold to be a buddy action film but they did Twins instead and New Line optioned the rights to it. That would have been interesting, I doubt it would have had the space overtones, rather just military ones with Arnold. This is prob my favorite Hogan film, loved it since I was a kid. It's far from perfect but very enjoyable to watch, way better than most of his other stuff.
It is possible for the wife to rearrange all the heavy furniture by herself in a few hours. Have witnessed this awesome feat of strength and ingenuity myself several times coming home and gawking in amazement at the results. Totally feasible.
I know you did this video a long time ago but been watching your videos and I had too message about the voice for the bounty hunter that still kills me XD
I don't know if you've ever seen or given the movie Ice Pirates the good bad flix treatment but you TOTALLY should. Come on....Space Herpes!!!! That alone makes it worth it. If you did it already; good on ya.
Here's another fun fact about this movie: It was supposed to have Arnold Schwarzenegger & Danny DeVito in the Shep & Charlie roles, but after Twins came, they went with Hogan & Lloyd instead. No joke. here's the link: (www.imdb.com/title/tt0103003/trivia?ref_=tt_ql_2)
i love scenes that are obviously written by someone who has never played a video game also, how about the pre-movie trailers on the Ninja Turtles 2 VHS? i probably watched those 10 million times as a kid
you watched this twice in 1 day. well those were the days when movies were more appreciated I think. VHS still cost a bunch of money when they were first released. Batman was the 1st movie I remember costing only 20 bucks when it was 1st released and that was special because I remember VHS costing 70 bucks when they 1st came out. When we rented a movie we watched over again back then. Back in 88 when willow 1st came out we watched movies over and over again if we liked it at all
you need to bring back this old intro to the videos, cause i really do like watch them before a review and such, you should ask your fans if the old intro should come back.
@Indigodelta383 I thought there was an NES game but it looks like it was on the C64 and the Amiga. I never played them but I'd like to check them out. I'm sure they are like most licensed games...terrible!
I remember this from the trailer... where is the part with the fat gear head neighbor....nice undertaker with ginger hair still hahaha..”a 7foot ginger dead man will never work” hahah
Man, for a second there i didnt think you would mention mean mark aka the undertaker as a bounty hunter. Should have know you wouldnt have missed that lol
Ah Hulk Hogan. Probably one of the goofiest wrestlers-turned-actor. Well, and Arnold too (in certain movies). I vaguely remember this movie. I should probably go watch it again. Thanks for the video =)
This is a good film, in the sense that it accomplishes everything it set out to do. It is a silly flick with a popular wrestler. It is not about story, it is about fans of the Hulkster watching their favourite wrestler in a series of episodes that play upon his real-life persona. It was never meant to contain great lines or sophisticated humour. The low budget is not an issue here, because it's not about special effects or high production values. And the stuff borrowed from other films is intended as very deliberate parody. Again, it works on the most superficial level, but that's what Hulk Hogan's media persona is. At the end of the day, you pay to see Hulk do similar stuff to what he does in his wrestling promos, or be placed in situations where he doesn't fit in, so that the humour stems from him being a fish out of water. It's all shallow and cheap, but that's hulk Hogan for you.
Good old After Burner. "What the fuck are they talking about?" I remember thinking "G golly this is After Burner." No I was thinking the same thing because... I WAS FROZEN TODAY!!!!
They should remake this movie. Let it take place in Hell's kitchen Manhatten. Instead of Chep. Have Hulk Hogan return as Chep. Story can be that he was sucked thru a worm hole which caused him to age rapidly. And the antagonist be his brother....CHEF RAMSEY. The story can be that the Chef took over everything even became the first Englishman to be the president of the US. Forcing out the small deli's in favor of the more expensive restaurants. Thus making the poor even poorer and the rich even richer. Suburban Commando 2: Chep wrecked. -The magic is back. LOL
PeasantOfPerversion Agreed. The world is too freakin petty. People are dying young already. Why add fuel to the fire? I think when Hogan dies. That's when everyone is gonna forgive him and build him a fuckin statue and name a holiday after him. So sad to celebrate someone when he's gone rather than appreciate him when he's alive.
There really is something about the Undertaker saying "Your a dead man" regardless of voice that always makes me laugh
I WAS FROZEN TODAY!!!
I'd say John Cena is now the second most success wrestler turned actor. He appears to have decent comic chops
You forgot the best line in the whole movie: "I was frozen, today!"
Instablaster
He forgot that a stuntman died today in the making of this movie. That stuntman may have even been my father
This was my favorite movie growing up.
"You're a deadman, Ramsey"
"No wonder you never talk"
13:03 "What are ya, nuts? This is the 90's...we're gonna sue ya" 🤣🤣🤣
I only remember 2 things about this film an this is the first. The second was that Undertaker was in it.
+GoodBadFlicks "You can goof on Hulk Hogan all you want for his movie choices but they are still not as bad as The Tooth Fairy"
Jesus.... only just recovered from choking on my coffee with laughter...
Hey, Harry & The Hendersons was a sitcom.
Chuck House It was a movie first, which is the point I think the other guy was making.
THANK YOU for defending this movie to an extent....even though I was just a kid, I enjoyed it, but never watched any of hogans movies after....no holds barred and suburban commando are all I ever cared for from him
+CazzSDMF I loved this film too... I mean how can you not love it when I WAS FROZEN TODAY!
I liked Mr Nanny
Also, how could you not mention "I WAS FROZEN TODAY!"?
i made that same face the first time i heard Taker talk like that, me and my aunt laughed our asses off and since we didnt hear taker's voice before that, we was like "what the f***??"
It all makes sense now!
Oh, come on, the anti-freeze bit is classic.
I---WAS--FROZEENNN--TODAAYYY......
you've typed it the closest to way it was said. nice.
What the fuck is "prow-sess"? Did you mean prowess?
yeah, that.
As for Hulk Hogans' acting 3 words baby THUNDER IN PARADISE I fucking LOVED that show
Loved Suburban Commando as a kid, thanks for the trip down memory lane
bought the dvd years ago, haven't yet seen it on dvd though! lol
love that piece of campy crap!
The Undertaker is my favorite wrestler, and I always die a little inside every time I am reminded that this got him his job in WWF.
Huh? His wrestling down south got him a job in the WWF.
Calaway has been an active wrestler since 1984. Please check your info J-Roms.
4:40 "Charlie gets home and....OMG NOOOO!! Hahaha I lost it!
Kurt Firepower? What about Blast Hardcheese?
Big McLargehuge
"Wooo!"
Mike: "Who stole my purse!"
Ken...Johnson!
...No, wait.
Fluffy Pumpkinshmirtz
ITS AFTER BURNER!
love the 90s so much, but as much as I love the 90s. I have to say I love the 80s more. the great thing about the 90s is you have the 90s and you still have all the 80s stuff that wasn't that far off
Yep. Good eye! That device really gets around.
Total guilty pleasure for me. It's not deep comedy, but it's great for stupid laughs.
Definitely.
I saw this in the theater... The 90's where awesome.
I haven't seen most of Hulk Hogan's movies but I love this one and No Holds Barred.
I full endorse this action!
No problem, I always try to respond to posts :)
@csandreas I wanted to give the Rock the benefit of the doubt so I checked it out. Wow, I was so wrong, the Tooth Fairy is embarrassingly bad. Thankfully he isn't under Disney contract anymore and seems to be back to making entertaining movies.

So many years later and still the best thing to say when in an argument with your partner / parents is "I was frozen today! "
The other bounty hunter is Jerry Saggs from the tagteam The Nasty Boys.
Friedrich Von Mises It's not Jerry Saggs, It's Tony Longo from the 80's HBO series First and ten.
"I was _FRO-ZEN_... *today!*"
Geahk Burchill r44rt,
10/10 for Gunther reference... and watch out for snakes!!
One of the greatest songs in human history!
Sweden's biggest pride next to Dr. Bombay!
I've never watched wrestling, I barely knew anything about Hulk Hogan, but somehow, now, I really want to watch this movie.
I think the propmaster was trying to have some fun
perfect song choice for the disco tech
I know you did this video a long time ago but been watching your videos and I had too message about the voice for the bounty hunter that still kills me XD
No problems with her, she gets a lifetime pass for being in The Shining.
i used to watch this movie everyday when i was a kid and thought it was sooooo serious and bad ass lol
not yet but soon
"There are plenty of wrestlers who have made the transition to actor."
Errrr, they are actors to begin with.
No, most are athletes who have to learn a bit of acting. Very few actually go from wrestler to actor, too.
That emperors voice sounds like Cap. Harris: "MAHONEEEEYYYYY!!" haha
wasn't that the undertaker
matthew parker yes
GoodBadFlicks Man I didn't know the Undertaker was there. I think that was used to promote Survivor Series 91 in the WWE.
+Usama Zahid Given the timing of the theatrical release being a month away from the Survivor Series that year, I could see the connection.
No it was Texas Red.
Don't you mean "Mean Mark?"
why didnt you show the part where he squeezes the melon?
Holy shit, this movie was funny as hell. Was a huge fan of Hogan as a teen, seeing this cheesy movie brought back memories. It's so dumb it's great.
when sheps woken up by all that noise outside, how does he even hear all of it when the door was closed?
Thank you!
I don't know if you've ever seen or given the movie Ice Pirates the good bad flix treatment but you TOTALLY should. Come on....Space Herpes!!!! That alone makes it worth it. If you did it already; good on ya.
in addition to how they got shep fitted into a tuxedo in such short notice, where did they even get one at that hour of the night?
Shelley Duval, Christopher Lloyd *AND* Jack Elam?! What a cast!
Here's another fun fact about this movie: It was supposed to have Arnold Schwarzenegger & Danny DeVito in the Shep & Charlie roles, but after Twins came, they went with Hogan & Lloyd instead. No joke. here's the link:

"What are you, nuts? This is the 90s...we're gonna sue you"
so glad you hit on the damn PKE reader, ever when i saw this at the movies, i was like, what really. lol good one.
i love scenes that are obviously written by someone who has never played a video game
also, how about the pre-movie trailers on the Ninja Turtles 2 VHS? i probably watched those 10 million times as a kid
Playing the Warflash games online and shooting all those soldiers. Sometimes I feel as if I'm Shep Ramsay at 1:23.
yea, i don't get that envelope cutting off the general's hand. it must be some sort of blade device
you watched this twice in 1 day. well those were the days when movies were more appreciated I think. VHS still cost a bunch of money when they were first released. Question for ya, That funny old guy with the soldier helmet at 14:09, do you know who he is? i swear ibe seen him before, but i just cant tell where!
"turns into a fake rubber monster." hahahahaha
Best video from you yet! cant stop laughing
when he finds the "Apartment for rent" sign, notice it doesn't have an address on it. so how does he know to go to Charles house?
Admit it u was like awesome i gotta watch this again
you need to bring back this old intro to the videos, cause i really do like watch them before a review and such, you should ask your fans if the old intro should come back.

Man, for a second there i didnt think you would mention mean mark aka the undertaker as a bounty hunter. Should have know you wouldnt have missed that lol
Happy birthday, brother!!
i'm sure everyone has noticed this by now, but really?
shep ramsey?
chef ramsay?
i can see the resemblace nonetheless xD
Hulk Hogan, so manly he can down entire bottle of anti-freeze like its gatorade and still live to fuck up bad guys
I didn't know Freddy from "Scooby-Doo" voiced General Suitor in Alien form.
After watching the first minute and a half of this video, I have decided to write a B action movie with a leading character named Kurt Firepower.
Now I gotta say that this is one of my favorite guilty pleasures ^u^
Ah Hulk Hogan. Probably one of the goofiest wrestlers-turned-actor. Well, and Arnold too (in certain movies).
I vaguely remember this movie. I should probably go watch it again. Thanks for the video =)

I absolutely loved this movie :D
Love this movie
Great Scott this was a good review!
@jozefthedick I've seen it quite a few times over the years myself. Never been disappointed.
I thought that was the Undertaker! Great videos
that always get to me about the president using the throwing metal to cut sutor's hand as being a letter
This movie is awesome!
14:07 OH look its Captain Rex (Clone Trooper) 8:37 Charlie would be Excellent at CinemaSins
and now we know why the undertaker has not been in another movie
believe or not there was video games base on this
"Tralala ummboomboomboom" what the fuckness
hahahhahahahahahaha the undertaker ... that shit is gold
Check out John Carpenter's They Live. The P.K.E meter shows up there too.
