    I can see by the Sennheisers webshop that you can order them as Sony, Samsung HTC compatible, but then will the headphones come with the controll cable?

    Nice review dude. You covered everything! Though I think the red cable that the previous version has is better. I believe that it's made up of Kevlar (same material used for bulletproof vests). Plus you can you can do a 190 degrees swing on 3.5 mm cable unlike this one,
    Overall, it is far better not only that its predecessor but also on other headphones of the same range.

    Hey! Great review! Do they come with some comfortable carrying case?
    I couldn't decide between these and AKG K551, but you've almost convinced me :-)

      Agnieszka Werpachowska Thank you so much! Yes they do come with a carrying case as well as a much smaller black carrying pouch (not mentioned in this video as it does not provide much protection at all compared to the actual carrying case). I personally owned an AKG K550 (similar to the K551) and thought that was too big to provide a sealed fit on my head, the sound however was more neutral in comparison.

    • @drmrc42
      @drmrc42 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Agnieszka Werpachowska the 551 is a great value for money but they're not really meant to be used outdoors. The fit is perfect, they are really durable and sturdy, great built quality but no way near portable as the Momentums. I own the momentums M1. Comparing the M1 and 551 sonically, the 551 are brighter, more detailed. Momentums are warmer and more forgiving. Personally, I think it's a good thing for the intended use. Most of the time when on-to-go, I wouldn't like a sound signature that demands focus. The M1's shine with an amp. When amped, they produce much more detail. Good luck!

    I use some state of the art Hifi to drive the M2. Otherwise the bas can be soft. Play some dobro guitar bluse and the tone is extremly metallic sounded and clear. In fact M2 is a very dynamic headphone, but its need a great source to work with. Using a greater dac, the phone doo a fantastic job with orchestral work, huge soundstage and seperate the instrument, each instrument got its own air in the headroom. 4 stars from me :-)

    I thought the M2 wired has noise cancelling as well. Am I wrong??????? I just ordered a pair and that was a big selling point to me

      Just Another Gadget? Hi, i loved this video. It was very nicely done. I have a question. I currently have the bose qc15s and ive had it for a long time, im looking to buy another pair of headphones, how comfortable is the sennheiser momentum 2.0, does your ears hurt after long use etc? Thanks

    • @justanothergadget
      @justanothergadget  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ***** Thank you! Yes in fact I previously owned a pair of Bose QC15s and I found them very comfortable. The Momentum 2.0 has a light clamping force due to the larger headband as I mentioned and have very plush earpads, so they are very comfortable to wear as well. I’ve worn them for an extended period of time of about 2 hours straight and didn’t experience discomfort, though I do have rather small ears. Owners with bigger ears have reported that the cups do cause discomfort after long periods of use. However, if you’re coming from the QC15s and found them great, then these should definitely satisfy!

    How the hell do you detach the cable ? I just bought a pair and I can't detach the cable

    • @davidstein7397
      @davidstein7397 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +IrishViperr You have to twist it. It has a locking mechanism, so where it connects to the headphone, turn it to the left. It should work. If not, try the other direction. I have momentum 1.0, and it is to the left.

    • @Hoi4ofgender
      @Hoi4ofgender 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +David Stein that actually very smart. a common issue I have with headphones with detachable cables is that they come out at the headphone all of the time when they get pulled by accident.

    • @Hoi4ofgender
      @Hoi4ofgender 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Quentin Wheatley it also prevents loseing the cable by accident.

    • @davidstein7397
      @davidstein7397 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Quentin Wheatley Yeah. But it comes with two, so you might lose the other one. I just keep them in the case.

    The metal “legs” look ridiculous how much they stick out from the bottom, especially if you have a small head.

      +51gan788 Monster DNA Pro 2.0 or the B&W P7.

    • @51gan788
      @51gan788 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for replying so quickly, I've done some research on the headphones you've suggested. The Monsters don't seem to be even on the same level as the Momentum 2s however they are supposedly still quite good. As for the P7s, they are apparently on the same level as the M2s with regards to quality, however they are supposedly less comfortable and heavier than the M2s as well as the fact that they are much more expensive.

    • @good14u7
      @good14u7 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +51gan788 Thanks for your feedback, but I'm not understanding how the Monster DNA Pro headphones are not on the same level because they're similarly priced to the Momentums and I've read countless reviews on how awesome they sound. Even the most negative review I could find which is from PCMag.com said the DNA Pro sounded good.

    • @51gan788
      @51gan788 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Good14u Maybe you could help me - I'm really dying here, I've searched tirelessly for a pair of wired, around-ear, good-looking, portable headphones. Clearly the best right now are the OPPO PM3s. I'm aware prices change constantly but right now they're still completely out of my price range.
      I already have a pair of ATH M50s, but i'm bored of them. It's not that they sound bad, but i'm convinced that there must be much better sounding headphones out there, right? I was kind of close to choosing the NAD hp50s, but they are ugly as hell and i've read reviews that the m50s sound as good if not better... What do I do?
