Because the viewer can't hear how good is the sound. He interprets the sound quality as his facial expression. There're ten levels of satisfactory and this facial expression is the highest one I believe.

Could you please tell me if there's a massive difference when it comes to the sound quality between the on-ear and the over-ear model? I really like the way the on-ear ones look but I don't want make a big sacrifice on the field of sound quality. Also the on-ear model is more preferably within my budget.
not sure if you bought yet, but there is. Both are still exceptionally good but there is a noticable difference. About a $100 difference in terms of quality, probably - as the price would suggest. But again, both are 10/10

Excellent review!!! I just bought the HD1s, which are the upgraded version of the M2, but have the EXACT same sound signature. Just a bit more comfort.
These look very similar to the Cloud II. Also would you recommend these for gaming

go for the MDR-1A, they are much higher quality than the Momentums (I tried them
side by side)
I just bought a pair of these from super fi open boxed in mint condition for £130. Soo much more comfortable than my on ear audio technicas and sound better too

Nobody, I mean nobody in their reviews of Momentum 2.0 investigates of how firm or loose are the telephones sliding across the "rails". *That's hugely important for me!* I like it when you can set up your "height" from top of the head down to your ears and not move it for quite a while if at all. Noone dares to tell whether you can do this or if you have to adjust them every time. Why is everyone missing this so important point?

Tried them, they sounded like absolute crap. Like every Sennheiser product I've ever tried. Don't get the hype. I don't have those problems with Audio Technica, Sony, Beyerdynamic or Denon.

Umm.....
Bass is thick and rudimentary, treble too recessed, and comfort is subpar. My ears touch the drivers. Also pretty terrible isolation. But i guess if they fixed all 4 of those things it would be one of the best...

these suck just got them your ear rubs on the driver screen and they don't get loud at all bottom line these just look good and that's it no base their not comfortable at all

I think it looks fantastic. Finds a good balance between retro and premium. Flashing lights and all plastic isn't Sennheiser. If you want that get Beats. It would be like putting spinners on a Ferrari. This design is timeless and you'll be able to pass it down for generations.
