In my opinion, this is a "TRUE" review. The headphone's strength and weaknesses were pointed out equally. The reviewer was not interested in impressing audiophiles/wannabe audiophiles or attempting to demonstrate a command of the audiophile lingo. The headphones were not slammed for their flaws or perceived flaws but simply had them pointed out in an unbiased manner.
Do you find with the momentum the bass response in one ear cup is more than the other?
Thank you for demonstrating that the cable was removable. I've been looking for ways to get my momentum 2.0's inline mic to work on PS4, but they wouldn't because they're the iOS version cable, meaning they have Apple's proprietary jack that Sony stopped supporting on their consoles last year. When I saw your review I realized that the Apple cable can simply be removed and replaced with Sennheiser's Android version cable. Thanks again!
Great review, most sennheiser headphones don’t emphasise bass. Depending on the type of music you listen to this can be good. Super modern music has a strong emphasis on bass but older stuff sound great on sennheiser.
I read about a topic about these that they have an imbalnced sound (right is louder than left) is it real?
Does someone know the earcup opening size?
I think the adjustable driver, aslong as they are of the same quality as the original momentums, shouldnt be a problem. I've used the originals now pretty much daily for 2 years and their still as firm as when i got them

Hello! i wondering what headphones im going to buy when i'm at the gym. and sugestions? i wondering to buy something from sennheiser or something from AKG. something from the price 100-360 euro.
If those momentum 2.0 where too small for your ears, try the 1st gen ones. Those didn't even feel like over the ear at all. They actually made the cups bigger per complaints for the 2nd gen.
This is not the wireless version I take it. Any thoughts on the wireless ones? Thanks!
I'm thinking about buying the AKG K550 or the AKG K545. Which one do you recommend me? Are they good on-the-go earphones?
I'll have to wait until I get mine soon to see how my mileage will vary. I'm headed of to the UK soon so maybe I'll begin to understand that issue with the bottom of the headband, but for now I doubt I'll have such issue from them in the humid climate in my country. That cable part worries me but hey, what's done is done, I already bought them :P , well that's a constructive review, found it informative... Cheers!

Very good and honest review man. If something has flaws they have to be enlighted, despite of a good brand name and marketing operations. For that price and brand these headphones could have been PERFECT but it's not so. They may put too much effort in marketing and advertising (check their website, it's amazing how many testimonials they employed for this product only).
it makes me sad the cable bothered you so much. i've currently got some AIAIAI headphones (looking into buying these) and the lock cable is amazing! non the less, awesome review and really helpful. thank you!
My girlfriend bought me a pair of these as a birthday present, and I have to say I have no problems twisting to unlock the headphone wire and pulling out by the jack. I don't know if you're serious about the pliers but you're either doing something wrong or have a defective product there mate.
