    Great channel Marc! As I was watching the video, I thought to myself, I wish Marc would show the watch above the wrist bone and voila! You did!
    I also have a 6 3/4" wrist, so it's nice see how the watches would wear on my wrist. Please continue showing the watched in both positions. It is appreciated.

    In real the Sumo is a beautifully crafted watch, despite the size sits very comfortably on the wrist, and 70 hours is the perfect reserve to keep it running between use. For me is even the limit of budget I'm comfortable to wear everyday and everywhere. Plus mine is fully aligned.

      I agree he is a reputable businessman that reviews honestly what he sells, and sometimes watches he doesn't. Marc is upfront. There are several other youtube watch channels who do the same, and are upfront. I have no problems with this. Better than those who "review" a product no matter, who have got it for free and don't disclose this fact. Now, I would love one of those new Sumo's in green, but fear of castration from my wife dropping $900 on one prevents me from it. And seeing this is an import, it is important that the source is reliable incase there's a problem.

    Hello Marc! I do like the green color, it’s quite spiff. I also have an irrational attraction to the 70 hour power reserve- highly unlikely to make any difference in actual use, for me.
    This being said, I have also been thinking about modding an orange Seiko Samurai through LIW, adding sapphire glass and a better bracelet. That would still be $300 less than the new Turtle. I think your mod wins in that contest, at least for me.

Looks like maybe an sbdc053 or 63 paired with the 051’s or 061’s bracelet for me when I get around to a more traditional seiko diver. Seiko needs a 39-40mm diver with a winding/hacking movement- I’d be all over it!

    The movement and addition of Sapphire is nice but the price increase from last gen is huge. Keep in mind you can get Sapphire on a $150 Deep Blue. It’s why I got that over the SKX in addition to having a better movement on the Deep Blue (to SKX). I could totally see these listing for $650 MSRP but Seiko is trying to go up market and will just move more people to Microbrands.

      Cork, that would take it to about $550, which would be a reasonable price.

    • @CorkKNIFE
      @CorkKNIFE 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@KRW628 I was wrong, the difference between MSRPs is actually $250.
      Still that makes it a $690 street price watch. At that price it's a solid deal.
      Now just have to wait until demand drops and Black Friday deals come around.

    So disappointed with the time keeping on mine! I’m sending it back to seiko, I’m gaining a minute a day, I tried winding fully, letting it wind down then wound back up wore it for a week and was shocked how much time it had gained!.. I need my watch to be more accurate than that, I have to make it to the gates in time at the airport to get flights etc and now I wish it were a quartz! I’ve looked into the 6r-35 movement and there is a lot of negativity, some saying the 6r-15 is more accurate, £720 uk pounds you would expect more!... also why not put on a ceramic bezel?.. regards , Ben.👍

      Absolutely Ben, I have the "limited edition, ha ha Black version". It does not run within tolerance, normally at least 30 secs a day and has done since out of the box, disappointed!!
