My interest in watch content waxes and wanes. I’ll always love watches and wear them on my wrist, but my obsession with watch videos comes and goes……this quartz sumo is really pulling me back right now.
Great looking watch. A grab and go diver with a Travelers GMT function! I love that big bold hour hand and the orange GMT hand. I may have to pick this one up!
I have the blue one of this that I got from Exquisite Timepieces. I love it and am very pleased with it. I have gotten many compliments when I wear it.
That's why I've NEVER understood all the fanfare about "automatics". They've always seemed just a big waste of cash. Solars are more accurate and less expensive to boot!! I'd get a battery powered watch before I ever got an automatic.
@@jebstuart3 They both have their time (pun intended) and place. You buy a quartz for reliable, long term accurate time keeping, with low maintenance. You buy an automatic cause you appreciate the mechanical nature of the movement. For me, I grew up with quartz watches, so that tick tick tick has a sentimental value that an automatic never would. Which goes to show that watch collecting is a very personal pursuit.
Great vid Rob. I have the blue version and absolutely love it. I wanted to do the new auto mm200 reduced GMT, but couldn’t justify it at the time bc not a true travellers GMT, and picked up this new, and the 140th Anniversary mm200 reduced green dial/black bezel used, in mint condition, and at a great price. It took me a while to get used to the blue dial, but it has grown on me. That said, I would do the green, if I had to do it over again. Ironically, I still want the mm200 reduced. Seiko got me again! That one will be my hulk.

I want exactly THIS, a solar true GMT diver... but then I have a 5-inch wrist. If only they made it in 38-40mm.

Unlike an automatic, this one will keep accurate time! 👍

@@takethecurseOFFwashingmachine That must be it....."personal pursuit". 👍
@@jacobt1027 um.....ok
The addition of a small lumed indicie beside the date window is appreciated. Nice watch.
Nice review. I love everything about this one!
That movement on a field watch would be very cool.
It's beautiful 😍
I just dreamt that I needed to wear a green shirt! Eerie.
Just got the black version of this watch. First decent watch and love it.
Its joy this watch - if they made an automatic version I would be thrilled
really like it.
What a torch
Nice specimen.
Beautiful. How long does it need to be exposed to light to know that it is fully charged?

I have the blue one and asked my friend who has a 6.5 inch wrist to try it on and guess the diameter, he said 38mm.
I'd LOVE to get this if it wore smaller... 😕
I would love this, but without gmt

Great content as always 👍 BTW was hoping to see videos of Mimo's meet-up, any uploads soon?
I was so engaged with conversation and being in the moment I did zero content.
@@RandomRobReviews Oh, bummer! Hope you could enlighten us on the new watches in your upcoming livestream. Cheers!
I'm astonished at how poorly Seiko does with bezel alignment. It's like it's intentional, this constant misalignment.
I’ll take a solar quartz over an automatic any day!!! Too bad they didn’t thin it down.
Oil fill it lol.
14mm thick on a quartz watch is unforgiveable IMO.
I wish it was smaller :-(
$775 . Really? This should be $125
