Hey brother it's likely a combination of your plugs and your O2 sensors. When you run e85 you will chew through plugs and sensors every few months. Stangmode had issues loosing power and not running smooth until he changed his O2 sensors and plugs. JMO.

Regarding the tick, some 11-19 models have it after an oil change. My 2017 just got it at 37k miles. I’m not worried about it. Wish others would quit bashing these cars. (Not referring to Zander)

I think this is a troubleshooting video and not a tick video?!...wait...did you say that ? I think you're doing all the right things, good luck man!. Sounds like a vacuum issue to me. Those can be the hardest to find

If you have a scan tool that reads live data check the signal coming from the potentiometers on the gas pedal. If the signal from those is lost it could cause the engine to quit. I don't think the small amount of dirt you found in the throttle body is the culprit.

Exactly why I can’t bring myself to void my warranty....plus I want to run my car as fast as I can stock before throwing power at it like everybody else does....

That's why I'm not planning to go E85, I'll be happy with my Whipple or VMP (Ifbthey ever release the 2018+ blower). I'm happy on 93 making 700hp.

could be the oiled air filter leaving oil deposits

Bro making me want to install catch cans on mine. Dang that throttle body was spotless when you were done with it. Good wrenching bruh!

I’d throw new plugs and O2 sensors at Carnage and see if that fixes the issues. I’ve never touched E85 but I’ve heard it’s rough on plugs as well as O2’s. Have you had your O2 bungs fixed yet Alex? Might be a good time ;) cheers

Nothing succeeds like new parts :) Be sure to clean the MAF sensor and if you have an nguage watch your short term and long term fuel trims.

Also try removing your purge valve assembly and spraying some mass air/throttle body cleaner in both tubes and shake it vigorously then drain it. If it drains dirty it may help your problem.

Try a 5w-50 like ford recommends in the track pack cars. I use it in a slightly modded 99 cobra with great results, very different motor though.

Use a 10w4o oil. For n.a. and 10w50full synthetic for boosted applications

There are tuning parameters for throttle stop, etc. I had a similar issue on an 08 Bullitt with it wanting to continue revving, the tuner (Mike Murillo) fixed it.

What brand of 5w30? there may be some oil evaporation/vaporization I think amsoil has the least of that. Also I dont know how good these JLT catch cans are, I had a moroso on my last car that caught a lot more oil. Did the guy with the lund tune have any rough idle or stalling issues at all yet? I still have the rough idle also, and ive had it for months, havent figured out what the problem is but I kind of suspect o2 sensor going bad but not throwing a code. Maybe need to clean the MAF sensor?

Also the stock manifolds have some flaps that get broken most of the times is that.
