Good for you on keeping your Mustang bro! I have an idea for you if you're willing to try it out for a mod. How about trying to see if the 2024 Mustang Darkhorse rear wheelhub and brakes fit the S550. I'm curious myself as that would make a nice upgrade. I think Ford making the Mustang Performance Pack with only a 2 piston rear brake was lame and the new 2024 Darkhorse brakes look amazing. Still, I HATE the new Mustang tail lights.

Michigan here.. I build and mod gaming pc's.. my 21gt is my mod car project. I agree on your thoughts on the s650 not being ready to buy if one likes to mod for performance. The locked ecu to me is like buying a prebuilt gaming pc that has a proprietary motherboard. You can do only so much but are locked out of really making the prebuilt system what you want. Ford dropped the ball on performance modders by locking them out / or into only using authorized tuners. Maybe in 25/26 they will offer unlocked an unlocked ecu. If not then long live the s550 modding community.
The only thing worth trading for would be a GT350, but only if you want to do more road course track time. For the street, a blown Coyote car is hard to beat.
Great video. Been saving for over a year to get a mustang. Either a 21 mach 1 like you tested or a Gt PP1 Premium. It will be a "daily". Any suggestion?
I think you did your mods quite well. I've currently got a 19 GT Premium California Special. All the options except for magride and performance pack. But I've got aftermarket struts and springs and a JLT intake with an SCT 93 tune. Definitely would like to go Odin one day but we'll see. I've had it for over 3 years and I don't plan to get rid of the car(just got it 5 year ceramic coated).
I agree with you I would definitely keep your 18 it's badass the way you have it set up I'm also curious where did you get those black inserts that are under the blinkers ?
Keep it! The S650 is just for the people that have to have the newest model every time one comes out. There’s no real tuning for it and it’s on the same chassis anyway. Just put an iPad in your dash and you’re basically there already lol
The alpha platform Camaro's are better than S550/S650. There is more communication and control. But for long cruises, Mustang's are comfier... but then again, the fuel tank size and range sucks in 5.0 or higher.
10:39 My 2020 Ecoboost premium is not that way at all and never has been... It has had other issues like a making massive chunk when shifting into reverse and not liking to shift at 3k RPM... how ever as of this year both of those have been fixed via over the air updates so likely it's simnuylar to a S660 now just with the old parts.
i live about 1 hr away from the national speed shop u went to. I wonder if i buy my own paxon super charger and have them instill will i get the same numbers ?
I’m also thinking of adding boost to my 10 speed but not sure what brand to go with and also is the micky Thompson or Michelin pilot sport 4s good on handling 700+ hp? Or do I need drag radials
I have a similar setup and I use Continentals Extreme Contact Sport 2 and they handle amazing. I was running the half mile on them last weekend and had 0 issues. Made 157mph on the 1/2. For circuit/track then Continentals Extreme Contact Force for more grip.

You made me want a 10spd mustang and I'm not even into v8's or american cars - not one bit
Been watching since Smurf and my 13 gt were new!
Keep it at least until aftermarket for the S650 is stronger
So lucky in the UK 95 to 99 from the pump
I would love to have sub zero myself. Miss my mustang.
Keep it! The S650 is just for the people that have to have the newest model every time one comes out. There’s no real tuning for it and it’s on the same chassis anyway. Just put an iPad in your dash and you’re basically there already lol
I thought my mustang was fast until i got a zl1 1le. Maybe ill see you at VIR one day ;)
The alpha platform Camaro's are better than S550/S650.
Love the video man! Where did you get the inboard dash from? 9:23
My dream car 😅
Those wheels would look good in gloss black or bronze
I regret trading my 2011 in for my 2021. Not because it wasn't smart, just because now I have a payment again 🤣
Love all your cars man ! I have to ask a question that is quite often asked…. Did you do oil pump gears and crank sprocket (billet) ?
He said in the video it was all stock, so ...
That’s what I need❤
Is there a direct replacement for the MT82?
Hows fuel economy on road trips and will this run a high 9 at the strip?
What would you want for it seems like it’s a good car and fun looks like you have fun with it
I'd keep it
Hey dude I think your Facebook page got hacked, calls itself American Magazine
Man it’s been years since I heard vloggity vlog
I had totally forgotten about the passenger digital dashboards. Do they still make them? I'm having a hard time finding it anywhere!
i live about 1 hr away from the national speed shop u went to. I wonder if i buy my own paxon super charger and have them instill will i get the same numbers ?
Are you going add Shelby gt500 to channel 2020 ?
its a classic just like smurf, I wouldn't never sell a carefully built and thought out car like this
Until the S650 ECU is unlocked I’ll remain skeptic
For maf wash maybe a throttle body spacer will help. I added one to mine and it stopped throwing check engine codes
I have a ?? For you is there any problems with a pro-charger , I see you videos just asking I have mach1
I'd love to own an s550 but that dream seems to be getting farther and farther away in todays world
Keep it. The Gen3 Coyote can make 2500 hp with some boost if you put the correct power adders on it.
