I have a 2019 mustang 5.0 pp1 with outlaw catback and a 2021 Trackhawk with borla atak catback. Although I much prefer the hawk and the 5.0 is bascially my bucket for when I get work done on my Raptor or hawk, the hawk doesn’t sound nearly as hood as the 5.0. 5.0 v8 sound has always been the best out of all the American muscle cars.
Wow love to see that kind of increase!!! Is it worth paying to have Kooks headers ceramic coated??? He will notice that rwhp increase in his seat as he steps on the throttle!!! Thanks for sharing Ray. Blessings to you also‼️👍💪😎❤️🇺🇸✝️
Wow that tune was epic....i want to get a 2024 mustang gt but i think im going to leave it mostly stock. Im pretty impressed with the cars power and sound and look and everything. Cool to see how much could be added with a tune if in the future i ever wanted to increase power. Not going to lie upper 50k for a car is expensive so ima spend the first three years dumping all my rxtra money in to payingit off. Some people are saying the new one cant be tuned but im just banking on the fact in a few years someone will figure kut away to do it.
The problem is not only if they figure out how to tune it or not. The regulations are getting more strict and even if they know how to tune them they might not be keen to do it. You are better off buying an S550 and tuning that one. They are reliable and make tons of power.
@@nozopoke1782 if I got a s550 I'd probably leave it stock besides suspension headers and exhaust.... I used to drive a Miata and I drive a jeep now. It will be plenty of power for what I'll use it for I just like the styling of the new one
Ray with the longtube do you close the rear 02 or not for emissions , will there be a code like P0402 not sure. Someone told me there is a spacer that screw in the bung and screw the 02 sensor on to it. God bless Ray.
Excellent hp&tq for only header, axel back, air system . So did you find similar hp&tq with BBK or Corsa, 80% of mustang owners said that kook’s headers will make a few more hp. If so how much less from the other headers did you find. Thanks you.👍😎💪🇨🇦
@@jermainjarvis2933ou’ll get about a 40-50whp increase over stock with an intake headers and a tune. e85 adds about 30 more hp on top of that. You’ll be around 460-470whp on pump gas. You can max out at about 550 whp NA with e85 Fbo with the cams and 350 intake manifold.
@@jermainjarvis2933 ported 18 or GT350 mani, TB, and E85 should put you at 485whp minimum in conjunction with the CAI, headers, and xpipe. Depending on dyno, parts setup, and day with different DA like in the video it could range quite a bit. Generally that setup is gonna produce 500whp +/- though
How much would it be to install long tubes and the mid pipe with tune? And that's crazy it jumped almost 50rwhp with just longtubes Cai and tune. These mustangs are just built differently from the rest. Everything else needs to be turbo or supercharged to make this level of power, but not these
Tune is not required but there are some cam angle changes in the tune that can be made with long tube headers to make more power. So yes a tune is beneficial.
Coyote has to be one of the best sounding v8’s

Bullshit . The crossplane coyote sounds better
Flat plane cranks donot sound as good as a crossplane
If you clean the engine, you will gain another 5hp. 😉
Love the Kooks Long Tube Headers. Got a set on my 09 Paxton Stang. Sound excellent but the 5.0 sounds a touch better.
Nice work.
Wow that is incredible. I would be a pretty happy customer. 😸
Going to do a smaller pulley on my Terminator and a tune. Hoping for some good results when it all gets done. 😸Inspiring video.

Is it expensive to tune it?I have long tube headers with a deleted cat, x pipe with quad tip muffler. I used 93 premium.

Only brands I've tested are Kooks and Corsa. Both delivered similar power
Comp cams be over 500 to wheels... solid numbers.
Without cams and and an intake manifold, tb, and e85 to this setup it should be 500+ as well right?

NC. Sorry don't tune Hemis

So that's 525ish at the crank correct?
Yes that's a reasonable estimate.
@@drpmotorsports2186 off long tube headers? Noway. That’s insane.
Headers AND a tune. The tune will help everything mesh together
Hello, have you guys heard of Shrader Tuning?
No we haven't
Today I am ordering my long tube kooks headers .. what size should I go with ? Can please guide me .. is it 134?
1 7/8s NA but if you wanna go forced induction later might as well go with a 2 inch
1 7/8th
Is a tune necessary for just long tubes? What's really changing that the factory ecu can't compensate for? I feel it's a upcharge.

I made 429 whp in my 2018 it has jlt cold air and kooks long tubes on 91 is that kind of right or is something off ?
Depends on the dyno and weather conditions.
