Tina Parrish was born and raised in the PNW but was a bit of a late bloomer when it came to outdoor adventures. After being introduced by friends to many of the wonderful outdoor opportunities right in her own backyard she grew to love the outdoors, but as a bi-racial person, also came to recognize the vital need for a diverse community, equitable access, and inclusive leadership within that space. Tina is currently channeling her passion to make real change in the outdoors industry as the Operations Manager at Verascapes, whose mission is to uplift and support historically underrepresented people through transformative outdoor education and experiences. Tina is also an Event Coordinator for SheJumps, an organization that increases the participation of girls and women in outdoor activities and fosters potential through outdoor play with reverence to nature. When Bikepacking 6 hours a day on the bike, what do you recommend to prevent issues that can be done while riding?

Getting a solid bike fit from a professional, first :) Taking enough breaks to get even simple stretches and movements in!
