- Quiet Down road noise with Raptor Liner | Pro Touring 1967 Camaro Build
Welcome back! Today we’re going to show you something a bit special. We're gonna slap some Raptor Liner on the underside of the 1967 camaro build. Not just for looks, it will cut down almost all that road noise and give ol rooster some serious protection against the elements.
What We're Covering Today:
Step-by-Step Application: I’ll walk you through how to lay down Raptor Liner right for the best sound deadening and protection.
Why It Matters: We’re talking about keeping your ride quiet, cool, and rust-free.
DIY Pointers: Get info on how to get this job done right, from sanding to the final spray. I’ll show you how to handle tricky spots and make sure that liner sticks good and tight.
Why Raptor Liner?
A lot of folks will spend time doing up the inside or the engine, but what about the parts you can’t see? The underside of your car takes a beating every day from all sorts of road junk. Covering it with Raptor Liner means you’re looking out for your car long-term-it cuts the noise, reduces some heat, and protects the bottom of your car stopping rust before it starts.
Before We Kick Start:
We'll prep everything nice and clean, making sure that surface is ready to take on the liner.
Stay Tuned:

This build is exactly my end goal for my 68 firebird 👌🏽 I’ll be watching for sure
Nice! I subbed to see your but be sure to tag me!
Yea that’s cool good luck with the build keep up the good work
Will do! Thanks Cliff!
great Job.
Thanks Mike!
End results look 🔥🔥🔥
Hey Thanks Jonsey!
Fine job! 👍
Thank you! Your channel has helped with my build a time or two 😂
You could have used the adhesion promoter that U-Pol sells with their kits instead of sanding down the underside of your car.
Great job, looks awesome
Thanks Carlos!
I found this interesting.
Thanks for watching!
Great video, man!
Thanks Gearhead!
👍
Science, people.
Science rules!
That is an interesting approach. Very cleaver and the result looks much better than paint. The more videos I watch the more the list grows. I might have missed it, how much was the liner kit?
Looks like a fun project. I am working on a 65 mustang, first ford. But I am going to put a 6.0LS in it. Haven’t seen much of those projects on TH-cam.
Also your filming and editing is very good. I am going to film my project, but nowhere even close to this quality.
Hey man thanks for watching! Yea its a restoration shop trade secret in a way.
Holds up a lot better than paint and looks great! Ls in a Ford, you are going to have some fans. Thats for sure!!🤣🤣
And thank you! Technically I make content for a living already so I figure why not film some things I actually like and see if I can help some other builders at the same time. And thanks for calling out the editing, it takes an unbelievable amount of time so i'm happy to hear its appreciated. As much info as there is on TH-cam there are still gaps so defiantly film what you are doing if you find that its not easily found online! Doesn't need to be all done up like mine!
Thanks again for watching!
nice job looks awesome.....well worth the labor...I have a 67 also that I will be doing the bottom with Raptor.. such a clean and professional look..... and wear a mask when sanding and scuffing...all that chemical laced paint you inhaled while scuffing that car ouch!!! I know you're young but your older self will thank you.....looking forward to more glad I stumbled across this video...
I’m actually a stickler on that but somehow forgot to wear one 😂
Thanks for watching and I’d defiantly do the same to your 67!
Been planning to do the same with my 93 f150 and my 69 charger
It looks good! Hopefully it holds!
Please get a welding jacket
I just love the feeling of molten metal on me 😉
Welding jackets are only for overhead or gouging Or serious stuff like that
Nah, almost every shirt I own has spark holes on my left shoulder. Gotta spot others out in the wild.
Each burn is a badge of honor.
