In no order: 1) VOO 2) QQQM 3) SCHG/VUG 4) VTI 5) SCHD/DGRO. Personally I put down 1.3m$ on few ETFs, still diversifying. it was this time last year I made my first million with a liquid 200k.handed it to a trader here in CA, I get weekly pay out which I put back on long term ETF's. Tesla will be a huge buy for me when the market bottoms.

You can fit one after market for cheap. Even gives you Android auto and Apple car play and integrates fully into the car's existing system.
They are trying to save money on thermometers and stalks. HUD is going the wrong way
I had HUD on my corvette. Nice at night but glare in daytime. I hated it. Speedometer look to right or look down. What's the difference? It's same.
after the first 30 minutes or so, you don't notice it as being out of place.
People who just focus on quarterly EV sales are missing the point. Look at the growth in Tesla's energy business. It is growing in double digits with more growth to come as power companies switch to renewable energy and grid storage because it is cheaper.
My 2019 Model 3 Performance has served me well, but the new one has features that mine doesn't. The new one has a cleaner design. I'm just waiting for the US Tesla website to post it so I can buy one.

What should concern todays car buyer is what will your ICE be worth when EV batteries are basically good for the life time of the vehicle?

460 kw = 625 hp. But according to what you said, the battery can only output 400 kw, so it will only make 543 HP. 688 NM of torque is 507 lb/ft. That is only 63 HP more than the current model 3 performance.
FYI, the power of the motor is a function of its rpm, and its peak rpm is different for each motor design. As far as i know, the output of the front and rear motors is maxed out at 90 kph and 110 kph respectively (, for model 3 ludicrous) Which means, accumulate power should be smaller than 460 kw ( 420 ~440 kw imo).
(+ current motors power specs are SW limited value, so it could be upgraded in some point through the OTA as we saw in old m3p 0-60 change in early 2021)

We have been getting the 82kw Panasonic battery for awhile now in the Y and 3 (about 1 to 2 years). Panasonic is suppose to be on an
upgrade path for the 2170 it was suppose to increase the output 20 percent over 5 years. Range improvement if
any in the New 3 has to be coming from other solutions. 2 second zero to 60 is ridiculous for a the normal person, or at least it
was . I wonder what size battery pack will come out of the CATL equipment in Reno. I keep seeing 270 watt/kilo for the Panasonic
battery and at best around 200 for LFP and maybe 240w/k for the LMFP's on the reviews here on Ytube.
Not much of a difference. I think for track use, the most interesting will be battery thermal management and the brakes. Looks very nice and seats look vastly improved for track use....

My question is on the U.S. pricing. If Tesla uses locally built batteries on the Model 3 Ludicrous, then it potentially qualifies for the $7500 federal subsidy, just as long as the purchase price is under $55K. This would potentially make the NET price of the Ludicrous model a bit cheaper than the Long Range Model 3. Tesla did this with the previous Model 3 Performance, but I would be surprised if they lower the base price of the Ludicrous model to take advantage of the subsidies, because it would eat into Long Range Model 3 sales.
Who really cares about faster acceleration.. That's already plenty fast enough on Teslas.

While it demonstrates the tech and is a great halo model I find these over 700Bhp just silly. It’s a family Car not a track weapon. Give us a brilliant Model 2 and i’ll be more impressed.
I have a dual motor Model 3 long range. Having the 2nd motor has very little downside. My wife drives like she's on her way to church through a school zone. Car responds nicely and efficiently. I go out for a brisk run occasionally and the car performs nicely. It's like 2 cars in 1. The Ludicrous will be similar. Driven modestly it will be efficient and sedate. All depends on your right foot. A big 700hp V8 by comparison can be driven modestly but not so efficient. An electric drive train is far more flexible (efficienct/power) with not so much sacrifice.
Still happy with my M3 but I'm still waiting the Tesla to upgrade the battery to ~100 kWh.

I ordered my 2024 Model 3 Performance about an hour ago in the color combination in the beginning of this video. May-June delivery, but this is Tesla; who knows?

Tesla layoffs also confirm another important piece of news. Their 25K model 2 or whatever its called is dead. You don't downsize this much if you're expecting to ship a new model in a couple of years

To refresh every car except your most popular model, the model Y, was simply a stupid move by Tesla that didn’t make such sense. Nobody can afford what they’re doing with the other cars. Washington is forcing Tesla to use non-Chinese batteries - so they can't. They can fire more expensive European/American employees though.
I think it will be very good if Tesla can make extended range type of Model 3 rear wheel similar to the new Model Y rear wheel.

They are already here my guy. Tesla's sells a long range single motor model 3 for fleets only. It can do about 395 miles of range. But that was there old model 3 design, with this new design it should do just over 400. 😊

The reduction in range is actually because of the bigger rims. The 20" rims have a significantly higher moment of inertia that the 19" or the 18". So it takes more energy energy every time they need to spin faster. The increased weight of the wheels also has an outsize effect because they're what's called unsprung weight. The vibrations that the wheels make to follow the road take more energy if the wheels are heavier.
The drop in Tesla's stock price is caused mostly by FUD. If you look y the financials Tesla is rock solid.
The new front bumper looks 200% better than the old bumper with the hump.
The “fishface” or “catfish” front end was obviously designed for aero, not for looks😂
I put 19 inch aero wheels on my 2022 Tesla Model 3 Performance and it improved my range by 8% (340 miles of range). I have videos on my channel proving it multiple times 😎
Tesla has not yet entered the mass market so are not in competion with the Chinese EV makers in meaningful way.
There’s no real profit margin in cheap budget models. Tesla is wise not to follow China down this route, especially with Chinese manufacturers getting government subsidies for each car sold.
so if the car will get 3 seconds on unprepped surface for 0-60 and 1/4 mile around 10.5-10.7 seconds, it would be an incredible car for the supposed price that it will cost (around 60 thousand dollars)
Just to clarify, the Panasonic cells are slightly more energy dense than the LG cells even though they are both 2170 with the same number of cells in the pack. We got the last of the Panasonic cells on our long-range Model 3 2023, and it is rated at 360 mi., a bit optimistic, probably. Panasonic has improved energy density over the very early version of those cells that went into the 2018 and 2019 model 3s

I would prefer a slower Tesla with more range. I don't need to do 0 to 62 in 3 seconds. Thus smaller motors would do fine. I would have happy if it did it in 5 seconds and provided 20% more range.
250-300 miles at the start of every single morning isn’t enough for you? Most people who drive alot do not use half the battery capacity each day. They could put a bigger battery but it’s pointless and just decreases efficiency.

And if the stock goes lower you better start buying more because it will go up in the next few years once the next gen vehicles are released. I am not an EV fan, I am a car fan. I enjoy Tesla’s, but I also really like other auto makers such as Audi, BMW, Ford and their Raptor line…

I hate to say it but he's probably right on that one. EVs are very sensitive to wheel and tyre diameter. All the larger diameter Tesla wheel options reduce their range, so I guess a smaller one will do the opposite.
The largest optional wheel on the Model X reduces it's range by 23% over the standard 19s.

They don't age well, and look worn-out before their time, and the battery is horrible to replace, costing almost the same as the car's original price tag. More people are turning to EVs with a better brand name, like GMC, BMW, Hyundai, Toyota, and well the entire market. Then weigh in Elon's rightist rhetoric, his X account, siding with and on the wrong side of history. Yeah, well... that 10% lay off is just a start. Tesla will go the way of the Saturn brand. He can't compete with the entire market with these cheap looking sport cars. Unrecognizable brand in the growing ocean of name brands with better reputations and less political discontent.
