I caught the full cactus in my hand, and spent three hours crying and slowly pulling them out.
DUDE THIS HAPPENED TO MY DAD WHEN I WAS A BABY. My dad saw a cactus and tried to scare me with it but the spines got in his and. The first spine came off but the other was stuck for a month.
As a gardener I have become used to the pain of cacti spines and thorns so it doesn't bother me as much anymore. I just pull it out. Yeah it hurts sometimes, but you move on. I broke my ankle when I was a few years old and as a result my balance is a bit off. Losing my balance when I'm gardening in my cacti section is something I would not recommend.
