Hole, you seemed a little too predisposed to the notion that the entire country mentions the cheating allegations. The whole "everybody hates us" is a strawman's argument. The real story is the "why?" The fact is that the Wolverines were good enough to win without the cheating. But the constant state of being mired in scandal is, and always will be the bane of Michigan's existence.

I still just don't understand how anyone without massive bias could have actually watched last years team and not seen they were the best team in the country. Let alone better than Penn State, lmao.

Josh did always pick against Michigan but I thought he was very fair in his Connor Stallions investigation analysis and wanting to see hard evidence.

I generally agree with Pate's analysis of CFB as a whole except for how he views Michigan. He always undervalues us, and it's disappointing.

Not a fan of Josh Pate, to be honest. Michigan’s National Championship Team could face the worst Dynamite Under 10 team and he’d still pick against Michigan. Didn’t do his credibility much good. Then, he did as much as anyone beating the “Michigan are a bunch of cheaters” drum. He’s a slappy for the SEC.

The impact to 2024 was covered in-depth but not so much the impact to 2025 and 2026. We have lost several potential future starters. Depth will be a bigger problem in the future as players like Beasley, who wasn't going to contribute this year but certainly would be expected to be in the two-deep next year. We can only replace these players through the Portal. If we replace them as future commits they won't be make an impact for at least two years.

Basically Josh is saying he doesn’t care if Messed-again cheated. That tells me all I need to know about his lack of integrity. It does matter …win or lose, it matters. It makes no difference whether they cheated in the Alabama game or the Ohio State game. They cheated during the regular season. If that’s ok with him, he’s a 🤡 and shill for Michigan. I’m not concerned. Their happy times are over. They’ll see.

Bridgeman was a 4 star but fell all cycle. Beasley was a higher rated guy generally.

Michigan added a starting offensive guard, a starting linebacker, a starting kicker, a rotational depth player at receiver, and brought back Amorion Walker to help with depth at both receiver and cornerback. Other than a rotational player at safety, the best players to leave through the portal so far have been a backup guard who got posterized in the spring game and a guy who just got beat out for the starting #2 cornerback spot and the nickelback spot. None of the linebackers that left were considered among the top six linebackers on the team. If you want to see a real portal meltdown just go follow Colorado. Also, if I were to project what a game day depth chart would look with the roster they've got right now, it would look something like this: QB - Orji OR Warren OR Tuttle RB - Edwards/Mullings/Dunlap FB/HB - Bredeson TE1 - Loveland/Tonielli TE2 - Klein/Marshall WR1 - Morris/F. They hate JJ because he’s a great dude, as much as they hate him for beating their team. As a lifelong Michigan fan I’m always respectful of the rivalry. It’s fun to joke around with the fan base however, the level of vitriol spewed by Ohio is ridiculous. Many have zero respect and just can’t cope, thus allowing Michigan and the fan base to live in their head rent free. When Michigan won the natty I saw some comments on videos congratulating the fans however, that’s pretty rare and it’s sad that sportsmanship is a thing of the past.
